Hiding in plain site is the singular person who could do more for the Trump candidacy, for the Republican ticket, for the party as such, and for the country, than any other.
His name is Dr. Ben Carson. The obvious question is: Why is everyone missing this?
Carson, without question, is a world-renowned surgeon and first-class mind. He is a gentle soul who served loyally as a cabinet secretary in the first Trump term—one of the few persons to do so for the full duration. Less we forget, he was also the dedicated vice chairman of Trump’s transition team.
As a person who always seems to calm the storm, Carson knows and acknowledges Jesus Christ as his personal savior. He is a devout man in every fiber of his being. I have no formal or informal association with Carson, but I recognize that he not only is an exemplary role model for all men, but he embodies the way of the Lord expressed in the Sermon on the Mount or the Beatitudes.

Unlike most in the Democratic Party, this would be a black man who actually has the credentials.
There’s a much better case for trusting in the goodness of God rather than trusting in the goodness of man.
Any day.
How is he on foreign affairs and national defense issues?
I’ve thought Carson would be the best choice b
I’d like him to return to the cabinet in perhaps another role. Perhaps Education.
I like it.
Actually, I like it very much.
actually, I love it.
From Carson's LinkedIn article, The six key principles to create a stronger, safer America.
I wonder if Dr. Carson has thick enough skin for all that the left will throw at him for daring to be Trump’s VP? Look at how much the left has punished everyone who worked under Trump but didn’t betray him.
“Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.”
— The Apostle Paul (1 Corinthians 11:1 KJV)
He's already been through the leftist wringer as HUD secretary under Trump, so he knows what he's facing. I thing he has the fortitude and thick skin needed.
“Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.”
— The Apostle Paul (1 Corinthians 11:1 KJV)
That doesn’t mean to put your trust in man. It means Paul will help you to better trust in the Lord.
Trusting in man and his gov’t is the root cause of our rogue gov’t and lack of protection of our God-given freedoms today.
I have always admired Dr. Carson (read his book) but I never wanted to see him in Presidential politics, because I just don’t think that is his forte.
He would be an excellent VP, but if he had to take over...I don’t think he would thrive. I never viewed him as a good politician. Maybe that is a good thing.
Regardless, I would MUCH rather have a practicing believing Christian in the administration than the demonic pagans we now see. You can't tell me that that wouldn't make a difference.
Modern politics tends to run off anyone who is decent, race got nothin’ to do with it.
As far as candidates who “should” run, it’s complicated. I recall discussing this back in the 1990s. The folks I talked to allowed that being educated is “acting White”. The narrative hadn’t shifted (by White *leftists*) to “White supremacy” but the bias certainly was there. Dressing, speaking, living by certain customs, that was viewed as inauthentic, etc. Not cool.
It’s interesting, I guess, to see the changes in the messaging. In the 1960s the popular refrain was “We want Jobs”, and barriers to education and training. The Democratic party was all about the Working Man back in the day. Wages, living conditions. Union support was huge with the rank and file.
They don’t seem to care about any of that now. I remember reading Richard Trumka head of the AFL-CIO saying millions of illegals pouring across the border for decades didn’t bother him. Both parties are pretty much batshit crazy these days, the Democrats for a abandoning their principles, and the Republicans for offering no pushback. In the modern media sphere, unless they were very careful, Dr. Carson would get roasted on a spit 24/7; Nobody wants to be subject to that. Conservative Minorities Are Not Allowed, you see.
DITTO~~~~~
No.
The leadership the West needs now is King Jehu, not Saint Stephen.
YES!!!
Dr. Ben Carson. A Bible reading Christian, Protestant, Seventh day Adventist Neurosurgeon who pioneered the seperation of twins conjoined at the head.
Can’t be all that bad.......
I didn’t say it wouldn’t make a difference. Putting godly men in power is MUCH better than putting ungodly men in power.
But the issue of the day is where do you put your trust? That, as I said, is the root cause of America’s being on the precipice of destruction.
“Thus says the Lord:
‘Cursed is the man who trusts in man
And makes flesh his strength,
Whose heart departs from the Lord.
For he shall be like a shrub in the desert,
And shall not see when good comes,
But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness,
In a salt land which is not inhabited.
‘Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose hope is the Lord.
For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,
Which spreads out its roots by the river,
And will not [c]fear when heat comes;
But its leaf will be green,
And will not be anxious in the year of drought,
Nor will cease from yielding fruit.’”
—Jeremiah 17:5-8.
Well said.
