Jewish comedian Michael Rapaport's shows canceled amid anti-Israel protests

Jewish comedian Michael Rapaport has had at least two of his shows canceled in Wisconsin as the state's flagship university struggles with an encampment supporting Gaza.

Rapaport, who has been outspoken about his support of Israel since the Oct. 7, 2023, attacks, confirmed the cancellation of his shows in a post on X, formerly Twitter, on Thursday and he called the decision "Very very very F***ed Up!"

Rapaport was scheduled to perform at Comedy on State in Madison on Thursday, but the show was canceled. The venue has not responded to Just the News' request for comment about why the show was canceled.

The University of Wisconsin, Madison, has been the site of major protests against Israel. Although police broke up the encampment earlier this week, it has since been rebuilt and school administrators are negotiating with the protesters as of Thursday, according to freelance reporter Liam Beran

Rapaport was also scheduled to perform Friday at the St. Croix Casino in Turtle Lake, which is about four hours northwest of the university, but the venue canceled his show, citing "unforeseen circumstances." The St. Croix Casino also did not respond to Just the News' request for comment.

Meanwhile, Aviva Klompas, founder of Boundless Israel, a nonprofit pro-Israel activist group, said that the shows were "cancelled following threats from the pro-terror mob." Just the News could not independently verify whether any threats were issued.

go after Jewish celebrities like Seinfeld next.

They’re already going after Seinfeld - for his relationship with Shoshanna, for one. For him being Jewish is just icing on the cake, so to speak.

If you dare support Israel over the anti-Jew leftists, they will go after you and show you just how “loyal” they can be to those that have, in the past, supported their political agenda. It’s coming.

“Terrified that they will lose votes if they support our ally Israel.”

I think they’re in a panic right now over uncertainty re: whether or not their election theft mechanism will work for them again... as well as it did during the “pandemic”. I’m hoping and praying that they have good reason to worry.

Oh definitely.

It’s like watching the Fourth Reich rise in the US instead of Germany.

Disgusting.

I’ve said it before and I keep saying it. If you had told me just fifteen years ago... what we’d be seeing and experiencing here in the USA... and how “fundamentally transformed” we’ve become...

I would have called you crazy. How naive I was back then. Blissfully so.

After all the TV shows and Movies, after Schindler’s List, Holocaust Museum in every big town, after preaching so much about the fate of the Jews in Nazi Germany to a point that the whole Second World war was all about Jews—after all that. After a guilt ridden Allies gave the Jews their own state in 1948. Movies like The Exodus and the brave stand of the small nation, armed with left over WW II weapons, defeated, nay crushed, Arab armies. After making the desert bloom and building a modern nation. It has come to a point where the ancient hate has returned with a vengeance. From being the victims of terrible oppression, the Jews have become oppressors in the eyes of many—or even worse. The hate has grown to a level equal to that once found in Nazi Germany and medieval Europe. There is no simple answers, I wish their were. Perhaps a Jewish homeland should have been placed in America? Can Israel continue a land surrounded by a hostime population? I wonder.

I’m 54 years old - my dad is 80.

He’s a union-man, Democrat voting.

However, when I was 20, in the US Navy, and dating an Australian Aborigine woman, he wrote me a letter about mixing races was bad, I should be ashamed, etc.

I love him - he’s my dad. But I do NOT tolerate that attitude.

It’s anti-science, anti-American, and anti-Human.

I never read “Mein Kampf”, because I didn’t have to in order to imagine the cruelty man inflicts on man. I read the Bible, which shows it repeatedly.

I’m just despaired that so many are willing to join in this hatred.

I think a lot of it (not mixing races) goes back to the Old Testament method of survival. It just made good sense not to marry someone out of your “tribe” or that is not your kind. A lot of good men (and women) were doomed and led astray by getting “mixed up” with pagans and demonic, anti-God “humans”. I see the same thing happening on steroids in our current environment. Naive kids getting together with bad people that seek destruction over peace.

If you become enamored by a rabid leftist, you could very easily end up dooming yourself to Hell or at the very least, damaging your life or a good part of it. It’s just common sense, but I get what you’re feeling re: the bigotry.

In the end, your dad only wants what’s best for you. Try to remember that and it will be fine.

I did. I realized he was meaning it from a good place (she was also 7 years older than I was, getting a divorce, and had 3 kids).

I wouldn’t trade my 3 year relationship with her, because it did certainly give me the idea that I’d be a good dad.

It’s good that it didn’t turn out to be a bad experience for you, but a learning one. I’m betting you had family praying for you all the way.
