President Biden on Thursday addressed the intensifying pro-Palestinian protests at American colleges, telling reporters that "dissent is essential for democracy" but that "dissent must never lead to disorder."
"There's the right to protest but not the right to cause chaos," Biden said of the protests, which have seen more than 2,000 arrests nationwide. His remarks at the White House were the first since April 22, when he made brief comments to reporters.
“In moments like this, there are always those who rush in to score political points. But this isn’t a moment for politics. It’s a moment for clarity. So let me be clear. Violent protest is not protected, peaceful protest is,” Biden said.

He’s just trying to say...Look....I didn’t tell you to go crazy...All I did was tell Net to knock it off...and take the hits like a man...and turn the other cheek. And that these poor Palestinians (who have supported Hamas forever) just want a place to hang out.
He didn’t write a single word of that speech today. They just prepped him and shot him up with some stimulants, then sent him out there. He read the words fine but who knows how much he understood. When the drugs wore off, a long nap.
How about arresting and putting to hard labor of protesting professor theorists and fellow instructors of the fertile minds of their protesting students” How about jailing university administrators who accept funding from any Muslim or socialit anti-American regimes, and spend the moneys they have received to support the forces opposed to them?

Ok so he said what most people already know and believe. He didn’t go far enough though. These occupationists were behaving like segregationists of the 1950s and 60s. Asking for proof of loyalty to the cause, blocking Jewish students specifically, setting up checkpoints and blocking the view inside their camps with barricades and planks and umbrellas. If anything went wrong inside, the people are trapped, at risk, maybe harmed or even technically kidnapped. Yes they should not disturb the campus environment, vandalize etc… but they were doing worse things than that and setting up for potentially worse. During occupy Wall Street there were a number of reported sexual assaults etc. There was a fire risk, there was risk of assaults, there was risk of stampedes and more.
Biden had to wait until Obama told him what to say.
What was he saying in 2020?
No Democrat dared to speak those words about the BLM rioting 2 years ago.
As the democrats call it selective rights and you don’t get any.
This is really going to piss off his base.
