America's immigration nightmare: The economic and social fallout; The near-term impact is already bad, but the long-term impact will be disastrous

The April pronouncements of Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell at Stanford University have sparked a crucial discourse about the ramifications of mass immigration on the American economy. Powell's observations emphasized the significant role of immigrants, particularly within lower-paying sectors of the labor market, prompting economists to hastily reconsider their projections. The forecasts presented by the Congressional Budget Office (C.B.O.) paint a stark panorama: an astounding 3.3 million individuals entered the United States in 2023 alone, with similar figures anticipated for 2024.

While some champion these statistics as heralds of economic expansion, the underlying reality is bleak. The majority of this influx comprises individuals entering the country unlawfully, imposing an undue strain on local communities and stretching public services to their limits.

What is particularly disconcerting is that much of this purported economic growth stems from illicit employment practices, perpetuating an underground economy riddled with exploitation and criminality.

Instead of acknowledging the harm wrought by unchecked immigration, policymakers and commentators persist in extolling its alleged benefits while turning a blind eye to its adverse impacts on American workers and communities.

Consider the predicament of New York City, where Mayor Eric Adams has beseeched for federal aid to manage the surge of illegal aliens. Such pleas merely skim the surface of the deeper issues arising from misguided immigration policies and porosity at the borders.

Furthermore, the discourse on mass immigration conveniently sidesteps the crucial question of assimilation and self-sufficiency. How swiftly can these newcomers integrate into American society and become productive contributors to the economy? The answer remains elusive, shrouded in wishful thinking and baseless optimism.

While proponents of mass immigration laud its role in propelling economic expansion, they ignore its stifling effect on innovation and sustained productivity. Enterprises drawn to low-cost labor are disinclined to invest in technology and automation

Any moron who thinks this invasion of illegal alien foreigners into America is a good thing needs his/her ass kicked. This is a giant disaster in the making right before our retarded, dumbass eyes.

That should be the first thing out of the mouths of our political representatives when they speak to the MSM.

We, and our political agents many of whom are experts who are paid substantial monies for their effort, were warned when Obama claimed we need to "remake" America instead of "rebuilding" America.

The open borders policy of the O'Biden admin is designed for one purpose: to facilitate the remaking.

What do we hear in this regard from our highly paid sworn political agents?

While I do not doubt that China, Russia, et al. have put some funds toward the invasion I think you will find that most of the Money comes from the US taxpayer laundered through a dizzying array of NGOs. One of the most difficult jobs any Republican president will have if they want to actually improve the country is to cut these funds off, as those who receive them will cry to a very receptive audience in the legacy press when you try to take away their rice bowl.

This all has to do with the 2030 census and rigging the electoral college. Why do you think dimocrats fought so hard to keep the citizenship question off the last one? They want all non-citizens, including and especially illegals, to be counted for the purpose of reapportionment...to make up for all the voters leaving blue states. Better start trying to change the census now...

Those corrupt, criminal NGOs pour a LOT of campaign money into the corrupt, criminal US Congress coffers and PACs, so they’ll be around a LONG time.

Yeah...and they probably already have a sympathetic court lined up just in case, that will some how find it illegal for the government to stop funding them.
