Louisiana Supreme Court voted to allow residents to secede from crime-ridden, Democrat-run Baton Rouge and create their own city.
They plan to call the new city St. George. It will have 100,000 people, one of the largest populations of any city in the state.
These people want a safe city.
The Baton Rouge residents have fought for a decade to split from the city to form their own suburb following a state Supreme Court ruling.

Its time more places try this.
North Jackson, Mississippi would be next.
I hope they have a plan to secure their local elections and their budget...
If their elections are stolen, or state abd/or federal aid aren’t forthcoming...
Hope they are prepared to walk the walk.
“History doesn’t repeat itself but it often rhymes,”
The last time the south seceded it was to keep slavery, this time to end tax slavery.
The scum will follow.
I live near Corydon in, which is a satellite city about 20 miles from Louisville and it has EXPLODED in population. I actually had a GF there when I first started driving about 1980 and if you didn’t get a bite to eat by 9pm you might as well go home as all 3-4 restaurants closed. Today….maybe 30, gives an idea of the population growth.
People left Louisville mostly because of crime, forced busing and high taxes. Corydon just a few year ago looked like Mayberry from the Andy Griffith show as a certain demographic fled there from Louisville. Well guess what? Just within this last year or two I’m seeing more and more rough diversity types at the restaurants and walking around etc.
I will leave the reader to decide on ethnic composition and immigration status etc.
Those parasites who create and support the mess pick up and leave eventually and move into other areas to infect, its a cancer
It comes down to this: no one wants to be governed by Pygmy cannibals.
The Rat cannibals are everywhere. Obama was the first tribal chief to exploit the White guilt that permeates America and started appointing these voodoo savages all across the federal government. Now they have taken over Washington DC and urban centers. They are no different than HAMAS, deciding what tax reparations the White people will have to pay them.
The USA collapse is coming. The cities will break apart and Baton Rouge is just the first.
Uncle Bosey probably agrees with you.
St. Mathews area will secede from Lou ah vulle.
It would be nice if they showed a map of how the split would be done. I lived in Baton Rouge from 1965 to 1993, and the city was not that unsafe. Yes, there were unsafe areas, but that is true of every large city. The culprit here was Katrina...much of the New Orleans criminal class moved from NO to BR.
The new town/city should have this in their laws - no Democrat and RINOs can live in the town.
Have a buddy that lives in the new “city” and is truly tickled.
My beloved namesake city (Dacula) is currently voting on cityhood to avoid the taxing authority of Gwinnett County, GA. They want to change the name to Mulberry, GA.
We are north of Atlanta and are also experiencing high growth in our area and increasing taxes due to illegal immigrants and immigrants from ‘Blue’ states. My property value has more than tripled in the past few years.
This success may revive attempts by Buckhead to secede from Atlanta . . .
Just south of I-15 and east of Airline Hwy.
I-12.
Thanks.
Right…they are massacring the cities once pretty name, well in general really.
I grew up there and no one pronounced it like that back then. That was a Abhrams , mayor for almost life, and Ebonics thing that changed it to the guttural sound it is now.

Kinda reminds me of the time a part of Oakland, Ca wanted to become a part of San Leandro, next door. Oakland is black so guess what they were charged with? If it was me I’d respond with so what?
HOW COOL IS THIS??!!!! Others need to do the same thing. First cities then states or sections of states then whole states. How about a country?
