More than 1,300 people have been arrested at pro-Palestinian protests on at least 40 college campuses across the U.S. over the last two weeks.
Why it matters: University administrations have cracked down on student demonstrators in unprecedented ways as protests grow in size and intensity.
The majority of arrests have occurred at encampments and sit-ins. Dozens of smaller-scale college protests haven't seen altercations between demonstrators and police. More than 100 universities have had encampments or sit-ins.

What’s the difference between the blue and orange dots?
Some of this BS is going on at the University of Nevada, Reno, led by former “Republican” governor Sandoval. Instead of clearing it out, arresting, and expelling the student and faculty pro-terrorist protesters, we (me as a parent) got an email notice to have our kids stay inside today during lunch. That’s reassuring, just cower and appease the pro-terrorist protesters.
Orange represents where arrests have been made.
See post 5.
Orange refers to places with police arrests. I lifted the graphic from the link and that part of the legend didn’t come through.
Ok thanks.
The UK has really covered the removal of the trash in NYC!!

Orange circles show where arrests were made.
Most older people including Dems and independents don’t like seeing these sorts of disruptions on college campuses so this should favor Republicans in the fall. Personally I have mixed feelings. The First Amendment guarantees free speech and has been under attack recently. I certainly didn’t like it when these colleges shut down conservative speakers because that too obviously violated the First Amendment. But now we are cheering for the same thing when it’s done to the Left. As long as these university protests remained peaceful I think they were better off leaving them alone. Only when violence emerged like with what happened at UCLA last night should the cops be called in.
Thanks for posting this; I’ve been trying to find such a map….
peaceful? come out from under your rock ...
Well non violent perhaps would be the more accurate term.
I think “peaceful” means no one killed. Though that doesn’t work when discussing the “peaceful” Islam cult.
What the hell is going on with these encampments? Free sex and drugs? Maybe that is why they are all wearing masks — they can’t stand the smell of each other. How do they use the restrooms?
There were protests broken up at Tulane and the officials said the protestors were not students at Tulane.
I suppose we can all wish for about a 10 inch deluge to soak these reptiles.
Map is meaningless without a list.
Oh, free speech states and non free speech states.
There is no moral or ethical equivalency between conservative speakers a dressing a rented auditorium full of willing listeners, and people squatting in public on campus grounds for days screaming at Jews, and trashing the grounds.
You can go to the linked site at top and take it up with them. I merely reposted the top map graphic to save those in a hurry extra clicks.
