I suspect there is WEF central planning supporters behind the push for this "utopia".
This is called a “pump and dump” where property owners push for some scheme in order to sell their property to the sucker who buys it.
Ummm...they already do:
the homeless will love there new place!
As Archie Bunker said, “People who live in communes are Communists!”
I’m having this vision:
Fires in barrels...
Blowing garbage...
Burning tires...
“I’ve been walkin’ Washington Square, singin’ after dark,
people think i’m Crazy”...
Schmidt, once upon a time of Google, finances in part Benn, according to his BS website. But the whole is a scam, looking for 1) donations, 2) subscribers and 3) investors.
Some details:
whois query for citycampus.org Domain: citycampus.orgThe "donations" address seems very bogus. And why Ohio for this "utopia" group in San Francisco? It is far more likely these kids are playing the game of luring in money, in part to pay themselves, as to all tax-exempt entities. Profit from the suckers. Call it "Utopia."

U-topia is two words, the Greeks telling us for millennia there is "no place." A look to the graphics at the various links is evidence thereto.
By the way, their fuding page shows that, after a couple of months, they have gotten "$380 raised of $50,000 goal." See: City Campus Fund "gofundme" page
Scam.
Don’t they have that already? The neighborhood is called “Step Over the Homeless Druggie”.
Driving down property values so that elite techies can live in a bubble of their own making. How will they keep the crime and riff raff out? That should be interesting. Otherwise they will be sitting ducks.
They can get the same at Folsom prison. Everything is within walking distance.
A place where you can get all your robbing, beating and mugging done AND step in human excrement and urine - all within 15 minutes of where you live, eat, work and play. Wonderful. They might as well set aside room for the bum hovels because they'll end up there anyway where they don't want them.
I’m sure all the elites in the US will be anxious to move into one of those 15 minute villages.
“Financially, the group has asked people to donate $750,000 to help create City Campus. The funds will cover investments every six months for two years, plus a 20 percent overhead fee. A GoFundMe page called ‘Help us Launch the City Campus Fund’ was created to accept donations. As of Tuesday evening, $380 has been raised.”
seriously?
$750,000 minus 20% “overhead” is enough to buy one dilapidated garage behind one of the houses in the outlined one square mile area of existing private buildings ...
“City Campus” should really be named “Scam City”
PRISONS already have this structure.
THE RULES WILL MAKE MOST HOA’S look like a cake walk.
NO PETS -—NO LOUD MUSIC after 7 PM.
LIKE I Said-—A PRISON.
The original concept of Shopping Malls was live, eat, walk within a mile. That sounded Great.....in the early seventies.
My Mall, which I owned and operated two stores in for 10 years was just fine until the City established a bus stop at the mall. All the liberals thought Yaaaayyyyyy!!!!! .....isn’t that nice.
Then, young black males by the dozens thought it would be fun to ride out to the Mall and hang out. Then, the fights and sexual assaults and shoplifting started. Next all the white folks quit going to the mall. The 100 store Mall closed completely within 5 years after I left. Then, the City bought it for pennies on the dollar. Get it???
The government, any government, will destroy anything it touches. This SFO live, eat, work, walk utopia will suffer the same fate.
What if some resident can’t walk?
