Lauren Boebert: ‘It Makes No Difference’ if Mike Johnson or Hakeem Jeffries Is Speaker
Breitbart ^ | 30 Apr 2024 | PAM KEY

Posted on 04/30/2024 8:12:16 PM PDT by E. Pluribus Unum

Representative Lauren Boebert (R-CO) said Tuesday on CNN’s “The Lead” that there is no difference if House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) or Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) has the top spot.

Host Jake Tapper said, “House Democratic leaders took an unusual step today. They announced that if needed, they would save the speakership of Mike Johnson, the very conservative Louisiana Republican if individuals like Marjorie Taylor Greene and others tried to oust him. How are lawmakers responding to that?

On the steps of the Capitol, congressional correspondent Manu Raju said, “Yeah, it’s mixed views here, Jake. I mean, we do expect a wide number of lawmakers are probably overwhelmingly to vote to kill that effort oust Mike Johnson. This is much different than what happened in that historic and unprecedented ouster of Kevin McCarthy last fall when all Democrats voted to kick out Kevin McCarthy along with eight Republicans. This time we expect an overwhelming number of Democrats to save Mike Johnson.”

Boebert said, “We are passing the Democrat agenda each and every day that we’re here. We have a slim majority in the House and everything’s being passed overwhelmingly with Democrat support. So, it makes no difference to me if it’s Hakeem Jeffries as speaker or Mike Johnson right now.”

Domestic commies are destroying this country with the help of Repukes, not Russia. Russia isn’t prosecuting Trump, stealing our elections, or help keeping the border open.

"Jeffries will push for a charge and conviction on Insurrection."

The January 6th Committee, which I might remind you had two Repukes on it, already sent criminal referrals to the DOJ on Trump.

They submitted four federal criminal statutes Trump and others allegedly violated: Obstruction of an Official Proceeding (18 U.S.C. § 1512(c)), conspiracy to defraud the United States (18 U.S.C. § 371), conspiracy to make a false statement (18 U.S.C. §§ 371, 1001) and to "incite," "assist" or "aid and comfort" an insurrection (18 U.S.C. § 2383).

I agree with her. The GOP is no different from the Democrats.

Russia has been one of the largest financial beneficiaries.
Ukraine and the corrupt war mongers are pikers by comparison.

Climatehoax energy policy took Putin from skid row to warring.

Same as in 2013 and 2014.

Communists are commies, the stuff is borne of a century of Russian meddling and corruption and of late Chinese meddling and corruption. We didn’t just suddenly become overrun, it’s been the long commie march to institutional control.
I believe that Russia is still meddling and most likely funding some of it-I don’t see any reason that they would have ever stopped.

To be clear-I do not like the most contrived war ever on earth-

our tax dollars vs our energy policy one teeny bit.

I’m not advocating for spending because commies are destroying our nation. these posts come from the ridiculous notion being put out there recently that Pres trump is playing us for fools.

it’s the two headed coin and we have tails.

if Pres trump can hold his nose for any of the reasons cited or other unknowns-I can too.

It’s one thing to have a different policy viewpoint from Trump. But on strategy, he has so much private information to make decisions. Boobert and others are second-guessing the man who made them possible.

Who cares if he isn't. Let the Democrats save him and let Johnson suffer the political fallout from that.

So he stays speaker. Possibly in the next 2year term if Dems don’t get total control.

And we win how if that happens?

“She’s absolutely wrong.

Jeffries will push for a charge and conviction on Insurrection. “

How come for the Repubs, a one seat majority is the excuse why they can’t do anything, and must compromise ?

But if the Dems have a one seat majority, they are 10 feet tall and can do Maduro / Venezuela fanatical stuff and keep their opposition off the ballot ?

How do you figure that?

Should the Dims impeach Trump again, Jeffries could make the difference in convicting him.

The only job Boebert should worry about is her own. She’s going to be tossed out of office in November.

Absolutely right. If Trump wins in November and the “Republicans” hold the House, then that would be the time to dump the lying scumbag Johnson. Not before.

Yes, or something like that. And he'll start doing it the instant the gavel passes from Traitor RINO Mikey to him.

Remove the four-eyed greasebag weirdo after the election - doing it now would almost certainly mean the end of Trump's already slim chances of winning in November.

Enough of shooting ourselves in the foot over notions of "purity." War is war - we must accept realities, then fight these scumbags to win, or just accept the ever-encroaching tyranny in America by consoling ourselves that we do "the right thing" even when it means screwing ourselves and endangering our loved ones.

When did he become conservative?
When did he become Republican?

“Has this woman any legitimate business representing thinking Citizens?”

Thinking citizens are the people who vote for her and, yes, she legitimately is representing them. It’s people who are clueless who have a problem with the truth.

What has MJ done that HJ wouldn’t have done to further the commie agenda?
