I know one soldier who was far removed from Viet Nam; his dad and I had not even met then. But that soldier intends to join the line at her grave in honor of the men who can’t be there any more.
Very nice.
Hubby met another Vietnam Veteran today at lunch and they talked about where they were and war stories.
They welcomed each other home.
Made me cry.
