I suspect many of the people in the building are not university students, but rather professional protesters/organizers. Either way, if they were serious, Columbia would have requested/planned a large mobilization of NYPD riot police to retake the building and arrest everyone inside and charge them with at minimum trespassing, breaking and entering, disorderly, conduct, vandalism, destruction of private property, etc.
If they write up a fake lease and stay more than 30 days, no getting them out.
