Horror as GWU protester carries sign with Nazi ‘final solution’ call for extermination of Jews

An anti-Israeli protester has sparked horror after being photographed at George Washington University with a sign calling for the “final solution,” the Nazi plan to exterminate all Jews.

The unidentified man was seen mingling among students on the Washington, DC, campus carrying a huge Palestinian flag — and the sign with the expression Adolf Hitler used to sum up his plan for the “annihilation of the Jews.”

The image quickly sparked outrage from many shocked at a term used during the Holocaust.

“The parallels between this movement and actual Nazism is real and scary,” one X user wrote.

As a matter of FACT and not simple bigotry, Israel takes enormous care in trying to minimize civilian injuries/deaths during their operations. They distribute warning leaflets, give civilians time to evacuate, etc. Compare and contrast that practice to the cowardly Arabs, who use their women and children as human shields.

I was watching a video the other day showing an ad that was placed in various places around the country soliciting “actors” willing to take part in these protests. They were looking for people preferably of Mideast ethnicity. Chances are this clown was a hired actor who was used in an attempt to portray these protests as antisemitic.
Obviously, there is no antisemitism at pro-Hamas rallies, where people routine call for the destruction of Israel, and target Jews on campus.

Criticism of Israel is fine. Opposition to the existence of Israel is anti-Zionism. Anti-Zionism is almost always antisemitic, since it calls for the destruction of the Jewish state.

They aren’t protesting against their fellow Jewish students, they are protesting against the university establishment because they want the university’s endowment funds not to be invested in arm makers who can be considered peripherally complicit in the Gaza war.
A divestrment from Israel means not investing in Israeli companies. Others go further and call for divestment from companies doing business in Israel.

There’s many Jewish students who are themselves participating in these protest. One Columbia student protester said they even had interfaith seders and other services going on within the encampment. You can be against the protesters but it’s incorrect to label them antisemitic.

I was at Columbia last weekend and this week. (Still have my CuID.) There are indeed ethnic Jews and non-Jews with a Jewish parent. There are virtually no practicing Jews, as almost all actual Jews have left campus for their safety. The anti-Zionist and often antisemitic tokens are perfectly safe. As for the "seder," it was no such thing. A seder ends with the call "Next Year in Jerusalem." The Jewish Voices for Terrorism Seder is as authentic as the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are Catholic. Jews have been assaulted at these events
