A man was arrested, accused of brutally beating a [man who pretended to be a woman] to death on the steps of the Miami City Ballet, police said.

The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) said the [man] — now identified as 37-year-old Andrea Doria Dos Passos — was found on the front steps of the Miami City Ballet on Tuesday morning by a security guard who thought she was just sleeping. Police said she was partially clothed and wearing a blood-soaked blanket.

One of the most annoying--and Truth subverting--defects of contemporary journalism is its addiction to a herd mentality.

Not only do journalists conform to groupthink and peer pressure, but apparently they tend to be too lazy even to try to root out the Truth.

They immediately repeat the most banal zeitgeist groupthink concepts, words, and phrases, apparently without giving them any thought--certainly not any original thought--

And this at a time when Truth and honest journalism are needed as never before!

About 40 years ago, a friend was on vacation in New Zealand.

Apparently they wandered into a seedy area - with bars/clubs

Anyways, some guy apparently thought he was, ummm, renting a “lady of the evening” as it were

Then the would be customer found out that the “lady” was in fact a man pretending to be a woman ... and began breaking the bones of the “lady” during a beating

My friend saw this happen across the street - told me he could hear the bones breaking (yikes)

Whenever I read stories like this, I’m reminded of that old story and wondering if that’s what happened
