What if the soldier has graduated from high school without ever learning what pronouns are?
Last week I attended a JROTC event at a local high school to present a certificate to one of the cadets on behalf of the local chapter of the SAR. Very impressive cadets (more girls than boys), but I wonder if they have an inkling of what awaits them if they join the military?

The only formal address for one another in the military is by rank and last name. How you gonna fit pronouns into that.
What about all the honestly mistaken uses? I called plenty of split tail officers ‘sir’ and they were used to it cause I never got a Court Marshall and we keep winning all the wars. Just address them by their official rank and smile at them.

Our military is at an all-time low now, especially in the morale area. No wonder the recruitment numbers are getting worse by the day. What NORMAL person would want to join the military now?
Actually the dominate male reference is acceptable. ‘Mister’ is also acceptable for female address.
Something about that picture is disturbing and it’s not just the guy dressed as a woman.
