TRANSCRIPT:
Katherine Maher: The number one challenge here that we see is, of course, the First Amendment in the United States... is a fairly robust protection of rights, and that is a protection of rights, both for platforms, which I actually think is very important. The platforms have those rights to regulate what kind of content they want on their sites, but it also means it is a little bit tricky to really address some of the real challenges of 'where does bad information come from?' and some of the influence peddlers who have made a real market economy around it.

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either opinion, or satire, or both.)

I don’t ever remember NPR being middle of the road. It was always so far left that I never listen to it. Never mind stop listening to it. 20 or 30 years ago. I never listen to it because it just appalled me right off the bat.

If it wasn’t for that pesky first amendment they could more easily silence people she says

“If bad information was censored, every major news outlet would be put out of business.”
Is that not the truth.
To: Uversabound
Yep. That was what I noticed as well. I’m in my mid 50s and NPR has always been hard left for as long as I can remember.

Which bad information? Like if one takes the vaccine they can’t be infected or transmit the virus. Oh wait - I believe NPR may been spreading this lie. How about Hunter’s laptop? This product of the state appears to have never learned how to think critically.
