Read the gag order. Trump can slam the judge and DA all he wants but he can’t hit the court employees, witnesses, staff or their families — like the judges activist Trump hating daughter.
Isn’t there any legal recourse to stop these tyrannical judges with these ridicuous cases?

The trial could still be going on during the Republican National Convention. Maybe the RNC can time it so that Trump's acceptance speech is on a weekend...but maybe the judge by then will have issued an order forbidding Trump from leaving Manhattan (New York County).
After the jury finds Trump guilty of 34 felonies, before the election, the Democrats may figure that that is enough to damage Trump, and it would be risky to order him to prison before he can appeal the verdict.
They, the Left and the Dims, are in this fight to the end...which they define as destroying Trump. With him “gone”, they think the Movement will die and they will be victorious ie tyranny with them in charge.
If Trump, his Team, his supporters continue to fight, they will make sure he is arrested and kept in prison for rest of his life. They are that evil and AFRAID. They know if they lose, all of them will go down and will probably be imprisoned themselves. Therefore they have to win. That’s why the Judge is being so extreme.
All it takes for evil to flourish is for good people to do nothing.

They do under certain specific criteria according to Supreme Court decisions.

No, and he won’t be there. And if a petty state judge thinks he can put a President there and a condition that dangerous, Federal courts will soon put a stop to it. That would be a direct emergency straight to the Supreme court who would take jurisdiction.
If Trump’s lawyers thought they could get Merchan recused at the appellate level, they’d already be there.
