The House of Representatives on Monday passed a Motion to Table the Motion to Reconsider H.B. 7888, which passed on Friday to renew FISA 702 and allow warrantless surveillance of innocent Americans.
This was a betrayal of Americans.
..... Snip.....
The final vote on Section 702 of the Foreign Surveillance Act was 273-147 on Friday, with 126 Republicans in favor of betraying the American people. On Monday, the legislation was brought back to a vote on a motion to reconsider, requested by Rep. Laurel Lee (R-FL) and demanded by Rep. Anna Paulina Luna in a recorded vote.
However, 117 Republicans voted with 142 Democrats in favor of a Motion to Table the Motion to Reconsider, which was requested by House Intelligence Chairman Mike Turner (R-OH). The legislation now heads to the Democrat-led Senate, where it will presumably pass and then be signed into law by Joe Biden.

Here are the 117 RINOs who voted in favor of warrantless spying on the American people and President Trump’s campaign:

FISA s a slippery slope. If the feds can have surveillance on foreigners without warrant, that means they can have surveillance on whoever they are communicating with, citizens included.
Whoever controls the investigative agencies decides what is done.
What is important now? Keep the House in Republican Party hands. Lose that, and we give the democrats horrible powers.
Now many conservatives are going to war against elected Republicans. Although it may be emotionally gratifying, it is a serious tactical error.
Think beyond the simple things before you act.
My freaking first-term GOP Rep (22nd District, NY) voted for it the first time, and he’s on the list again. I called his office last week before the first vote, and told the women who answered that any Congressman that votes in favor of FISA, condones criminal behavior by the government, is an enabler of that criminal behavior, and is complicit in that criminal behavior, and that I will never vote for any Congressman that votes with the RATS on this Bill. I wasn’t going to vote for him again anyway, because he’s voted regularly to send unaccounted-for money to Ukraine, and voted for the last expenditure Bill to keep the government open. He’ll likely get re-elected though. I’d be surprised if he didn’t.
How is that Patriot Act working out for you America?
No government ever relinquishes power or control once they have it.
Thats the Uni-Party, right there.
I’m not sure which is the right way forward. But I’ll point out that a third party presents its own set of challenges. The RINOs won’t disappear just because of a third party. Some of them might switch to the new party and carry on their deceptions there.
But whether reform comes in the form of a new party or a revamped Republican party, business as usual is going to have to stop. Maybe the party can try to institute some sort of voluntary campaign donation restrictions with all candidates being required to sign before being allowed to run as a party candidate. Relying more on caucuses than primaries, might also be a good idea. And there’s no escaping the need for voters to be well informed if the process is going to work.
My rep is on the list. Often votes with the democrats. I don’t plan on voting for them again. I will leave that field blank.
hyperventilation by people who misunderstand the act.
It's a shame that he is going to be replaced by another California Democrat/Communist ... but he no longer has my vote nor my financial support.

Fool me once, shame on me.
Fool me twice, f*ck you!

An experienced one looks a mile behind the target.
Waiting for the continued wailing & gnashing of teeth from the Stupid Party (TM) base while stating, “I’m STILL voting the lesser of 2 evils/Any (R) is better than a (D)/Throw away vote...” in the coming months
I’m always shooting off my mouth about minorities and slow, poor people allowing the Democrats to abuse and use them. Well, it finally dawned on me that I’ve been allowing the GOP to do the same exact thing to me. We’re all fools. We elect criminals to rule over us.
That is my congresscritter. My turn to vote is coming up, and he won't be getting mine.
Our RINO in Texas Tony Gonzales voted yes. We have a runoff in May to primary him out. Hopefully we can get rid of him.
Sam here. Maybe he should retire again.
2 out of 8 Republicans in TN.
He’s my Rep. Calling tomorrow.
I can’t believe my Congressman, Dan Meuser, voted for this crap!
I just sent him an email. Not that he will respond. I’m waiting for some canned BS response. Very disappointed!
He is usually a good bet to vote against this stuff.
