Oh, and about the racial thing: a few NAACP activists came into our community to stir things up. They called for a demonstration on a Saturday. The locals reported very sparse attendance. Matter closed. (The details were hilarious.)

It would be an economic firestorm in my area if they deported illegals; the schools are only kept open because of their anchor babies, and much of the housing stock would be empty (rental units). In the NYC metro area, they are trafficked here to keep clients for the government administration; the Walmarts and courts would be empty as well.
They are “placeholders” for the areas abandoned by Americans, inheriting an infrastructure and government bureaucracy they can’t fund.
