Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.), who is a key vote on the question of whether the Senate will hold a full impeachment trial of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, confronted Mayorkas about the southern border at a hearing this week.
Tester, who is also one of the most vulnerable senators up for reelection, directed some of the harshest criticism of any Senate Democrat at Mayorkas when the secretary appeared before a Senate Appropriations subcommittee Wednesday.
“All you have to see is what’s gone on at the southern border, and you know that we’re in a situation that needs immediate repair, immediate fixing, immediate overhaul,” Tester said, glaring at the embattled Homeland Security secretary, who was impeached by the House in February.

Yeah, Mayorkas will get right on it and “step up.”
Mayorkas is doing precisely what he has been instructed to do. Demolish the USA with illiterates walking in.
Political posturing for show and no more!!
Tester doesn’t get it. Mayorkas has already stepped up. He’s maintaining an open border.
Add “diseased and criminal” to illiterates...
You are right...he’s doing exactly as ordered.
“..Tester is full of dodo...”
^THAT^ and it must be an election year.
UniParty members only sound “American” if it’s an election year.
Testes giving this scumbag a pep talk.
Where was tester 3 years ago telling Biden to stick with the border policy that Trump had.
Tester of Montana and Brown of Ohio illustrate why the states appointed senators in the Framers’ Constitution.
It is as old as the 17th Amendment. Vote Marxist for five years and flip to vote in America’s interests in the sixth.
It works way too often.
Oooh, a good stern talking-to. Harsh language will be next.
Tester is up for reelection this year in a state that Trump won by 16 points. This is pure election-year posturing. It’s cheap boilerplate to cover up for 6 years of being a 100% stooge of Chuck Schumer and Joe Biden.
Well, lordy, lordy, a Democrat saying something sensible. He must be deeply worried about his re-election chances.
We all know the border is a diversion from the nightly flights all over the US bringing in our replacements
Have been hearing over 330,000 have been flown in, given cash, phones, and debit cards
If the invasion is to end, our nation will need to take harsh and unpopular actions on the border; ; harsh actions against Mexico; harsh actions against the 10+ million already here. Too many of our representatives are ruled by what the corporate/liberal/anti-America media say. Sadly, I don't think this will change anytime soon.
If Trump is re-elected, what actions can he take to stop the invasion and deport the 10+ million illegals who are here? I ask this question in light of a Congress and federal institutions that have thus far failed to do anything meaningful to address the invasion problem. It's likely that Trump will be dealing with the same resistant actors when elected.
Tester thinks that he can compensate for 17 years of voting with Joe Biden by belatedly pretending to be concerned about the border.
“Tester of Montana and Brown of Ohio...”
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
...need to be ousted in the worst way.
Tester gets it. The people of Montana who have kept Tester in the Senate are the clueless ones.
I’m not sure who annoys me the most. Tester. who runs as a moderate conservative and then leg humps Schmuck Schumer, or the fools that buy his election year bullschiff.
