Americans looking for shelter from inflation are unlikely to find any at home.
Inflation under the Biden administration has sent the costs of maintaining a household soaring. Rent, electricity, and garbage collection prices are all up nearly six percent.
The price of rent and associated shelter costs have jumped more than five percent since March 2023:
— Owners’ equivalent rent (the opportunity cost of not renting out the home you own): Up 5.9 percent since March 2023 / Up 0.4 percent since February 2024
— Water and sewer maintenance services: Up 5.1 percent since March 2023 / Up 0.5 percent since February 2024
— Rent of primary residence: Up 5.7 percent since March 2023 / Up 0.4 percent since February 2024

I still am not convinced Americans are smart enough to realize their discomfort comes from the clown show running the White House.
CBS mornings had a piece this am on how people have to now take out loans or get financial aid for kids to go to Summer camp as inflation has made prices unaffordable.
Bidenflation
Agreed. Probably the majority will think it’s greedy landlords and corporate executives causing the price increases. Most Americans alive today do not recall the inflation era under Nixon, Ford and Carter, caused by excessive government spending on both the New Society programs and paying for the Viet Nam War (guns and butter). An ugly period on many fronts, but the inflation part I remember clearly. It took Reagan and Volcker and a severe recession to correct it. Hmmmm.....
He was a prophet.
And the MILLIONS of new illegal alien occupants in your cities that ALL need shelter have nothing at all to do with skyrocketing rent.
