When President Biden proposed an additional $24 billion in supplemental funding for Ukraine in August, Moscow spin doctors working for the Kremlin were ready to try to undermine public support for the bill, internal Kremlin documents show.
In an ongoing campaign that seeks to influence congressional and other political debates to stoke anti-Ukraine sentiment, Kremlin-linked political strategists and trolls have written thousands of fabricated news articles, social media posts and comments that promote American isolationism, stir fear over the United States’ border security and attempt to amplify U.S. economic and racial tensions, according to a trove of internal Kremlin documents obtained by a European intelligence service and reviewed by The Washington Post.
One of the political strategists, for instance, instructed a troll farm employee working for his firm to write a comment of “no more than 200 characters in the name of a resident of a suburb of a major city.” The strategist suggested that this fictitious American “doesn’t support the military aid that the U.S. is giving Ukraine and considers that the money should be spent defending America’s borders and not Ukraine’s. He sees that Biden’s policies are leading the U.S. toward collapse.”
The documents — numbering more than 100 and dating between May 2022 and August 2023 — were provided to The Post to expose Kremlin propaganda operations aimed at undermining support for Ukraine in the United States, as well as their scale and methods. Your observations about the global frequency of this have not bearing on whether it is right or not and is not unlike someone saying that millions of illegals have already crossed the border so why does it matter.

The Obama Biden team spent most of their terms trying to harm Ukrainian interests and helping Russia win. they specifically sent non-lethal aid to Ukraine when Russia was invading places such as Crimea.
The Trump team rightly upped the US game to include lethal aid that was important to killing Russians in the present conflict.
No president in history has killed as many Russian soldiers as Donald Trump. This should be seen as a point of accomplishment.

If Ukraine was so important in 2008, to even suggest they be a part of NATO, the fact that it never happened 16 years later, tells me it wasn't such a big deal after all. NATO has been using Ukraine as a pawn in their game all these years.

I'm sick of my tax dollars being used to fight proxy wars with Russia and China. It's been going on since the Korean War. Ukraine and Russia are Europe's problem. It's time Europe stepped up and took care of their problems in their own back yard. America is no longer a world power. RATS and Rinos have seen to that. This country will never have the capability to fight another war to complete victory as they did in WWII. It's time to get away from those "entangling alliances" that George Washington warned us of all those years ago. All those alliances have ever done is destroy this country a little more each time, taking away from the American citizen, who gets nothing from them in return, except another nation in line begging at our door.

I’m glad you posted that bit of history Rocco. People need to be reminded of what evil there is in the world. It hasn’t gone away. Ukrainians were also used at some of the Nazi concentration camps. They were responsible for marching groups of Jews out into the forest, making them dig their own graves, and conducting mass shootings.

In the Reichskommissariat, ruthlessly administered by Erich Koch, UKRAINIANS were slated for servitude. The collective farms, whose dissolution was the fervent hope of the peasantry, were left intact, industry was allowed to deteriorate, and the cities were DEPRIVED of foodstuffs as all available resources were directed to support the German war effort. Some 2.2 MILLION PEOPLE TAKEN FROM UKRAINE to Germany as slave labourers (Ostarbeiter, or “eastern workers”). Cultural activities were repressed, and education was limited to the elementary level.
Under such conditions of brutality, Ukrainian political activity, predicated originally on cooperation with the Germans, increasingly turned to underground organizational work and resistance. The OUN groups that streamed eastward in 1941 were soon subjected by the German authorities to repressive measures, including execution, so they propagated their nationalist views clandestinely and, through their contact with the local population, began to revise their ideology in a more democratic, pluralist direction.”
