Zelenskyy straight-up said Ukraine is going to lose if Congress doesn't send more aid
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Sunday that his country "will lose the war" against Russia if Congress does not act to send it more aid, Agence France-Presse reported.
Zelenskyy's statement on Sunday was his starkest warning to date about the fate of Ukraine.
In late March, he told The Washington Post that Ukraine's army would have to contemplate a retreat "step by step, in small steps," if the US aid did not come through.

Well... bye.
I straight up don’t care
We’re not your friggin ATM asshole.
The hallmark of a good scam is they never leave money on the table. Z will go to his estate in a foreign country when the people that installed him tell him the money is drying up. That’s years away. Many in Congress openly admit they “care” more about Ukraine than Americans.
Yes, ... still it's Good News!
That National Lampoon cover photo has an interesting back story…
Y-y-you mean they’re not winning? What will happen to all the pensions?
He’s not wrong. Russia would have equally been defeated by Germany without US and British supplies and Allied attacks on Germany, including air raids that razed big chunks of German cities. For instance, the US sent 14,000 airplanes and 13,000 tanks to Russia, including ~5,000 of the Airacobra, a fighter first made in 1941.
Nikita Khrushchev offered the same opinion.
“If the United States had not helped us, we would not have won the war,” he wrote in his memoirs. “One-on-one against Hitler’s Germany, we would not have withstood its onslaught and would have lost the war. No one talks about this officially, and Stalin never, I think, left any written traces of his opinion, but I can say that he expressed this view several times in conversations with me.”
The United States provided the Soviet Union with more than 400,000 jeeps and trucks, 14,000 aircraft, 8,000 tractors and construction vehicles, and 13,000 battle tanks.
However, the real significance of Lend-Lease for the Soviet war effort was that it covered the “sensitive points” of Soviet production — gasoline, explosives, aluminum, nonferrous metals, radio communications, and so on, says historian Boris Sokolov.
“In a hypothetical battle one-on-one between the U.S.S.R and Germany, without the help of Lend-Lease and without the diversion of significant forces of the Luftwaffe and the German Navy and the diversion of more than one-quarter of its land forces in the fight against Britain and the United States, Stalin could hardly have beaten Hitler,” Sokolov wrote in an essay for RFE/RL’s Russian Service.]
They are going to lose either way. Why postpone it.
Yes, I probably could search for it, but others might enjoy it as well and telling it here would be beneficial.
All Uke Nazi government bureaucrats will retire to the US where they will become paid alphabet agency advisors.
Negotiate a ceasefire NOW before you lose all bargaining power imbecile.
Treat Ukraine like Gaza
"Look at these shoes. I had to wear them twice. I told you
I needed to go to Paris for new ones. But you never listen."
Thanks, Liz!
So, it’s time to call for a cease-fire and negotiations for peace. But Zelensky can’t make any demands now (he could have made some in 2022, but it’s too late now). Zelensky should resign and live in his British mansion, and let someone else, someone friendlier with Russia take the lead and maybe get a better deal. But if Ukraine lets Biden’s people participate, expect no favors.
They will lose with or without the aid. The Ukrainian people are tired of being cannon fodder in a proxy war. The median age of a Ukrainian soldier is 42. The draft age minimum is set at 27. Zelensky tried to lower it to 25 and was met by stiff resistance from the public.
How many billions more must we borrow to prolong this unwinnable conflict that has been ongoing since 2014?
