Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and a conservative think tank’s president pushed Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) to approve more aid to Ukraine in its fight against Russia, arguing that backing Kyiv is vital to securing American freedom and values.
Pompeo, who served in the Trump administration, said in a letter with John Walters, the CEO and president of the Hudson Institute, that protecting Ukraine is connected to issues at home, making the argument as some Republicans, including Johnson, have previously insisted the U.S. must secure the border before sending more aid to Kyiv.
“None of our challenges at home will be made better by abandoning our allies at this time of great need, when they are staring down enemies of the free world,” they wrote, invoking former President Reagan’s doctrine to stand up against totalitarian forces. “The United States remains the indispensable nation. And this is a Time for Choosing. We encourage you to lead, and we will stand with you.”

I completely agree with Pompeo.
This can be done as a loan, costing America ZERO, while making America’s industries Great Again and giving the American worker plenty of new jobs.
Trump is a businessman, thus I don’t see how he possibly can be against this loan in any way. He might even push this proactively forward very soon.
Trump doesn’t want the Russia-Iran/Hamas-North Korea-China Alliance to win in Ukraine and against America’s interests in general. He proved that when he was president putting in place harsh anti-Russia and pro-Ukraine polices back then.

Israel and Ukraine are America’s allies and Zelensky have said many times that he is ready to pay for Western weapons.
Let’s do a lend-lease, just like with the the UK during WWII. The UK paid it all back to America in 2006. Thus, it works! And America won’t lose any money, and might even profit from it all. Just like WWII saved America’s Economy and made it a super-power.
Morally speaking it’s a Christian thing to do. To help our allies from being slaughtered by Islamists and Neo-Soviets.
