Cindy McCain: Gaza ‘On the Brink’ of Not Being Able to Recover from Famine
Breitbart ^ | 04/07/2024 | Pam Key

Cindy McCain, the executive director of the World Food Program and wife of the late Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that the situation in Gaza had become dire.

Anchor Jake Tapper said, “Israel has also approved opening the Erez Crossing from Israel into northern Gaza to get this desperately needed aid in. How important is opening that crossing for you and your workers with the World Food Program? Will that help hold off this famine that you’ve said is imminent?”

>More food trucks are getting into Gaza than before the war.<

Maybe Gaza should stop exporting so many vegetables, fruit, and breads if they are in a famine.

The exports from Gaza have only slowed a little bit since Israel started to defend itself.

The bish is lying to line her own pockets.

Send her to Gaza. She could probably feed a family for several days.

Wiki

Following his discharge in 1945, Hensley and his brother went back to work for Marley in his United Sales Company in Phoenix and United Distributors in Tucson.[7][8] In 1948, both brothers were prosecuted by the federal government and convicted of multiple counts of falsifying liquor records in a conspiracy to conceal illegal distribution of whiskey against post-war rationing regulations.[5][10][15] Jim Hensley received a six-month sentence (later upheld but suspended by an appeals court) while his brother received a year in federal prison, and both were fined.[5] In 1953, Jim Hensley and Marley were charged by federal prosecutors with falsifying liquor records.[15] Defended by future Supreme Court Justice William Rehnquist, they were acquitted.[10][15]

In December 1952,[8] the Hensley brothers bought into the Ruidoso Downs racetrack in New Mexico, with Eugene running it and Jim returning to Phoenix.[7] In a May 1953 hearing before the New Mexico State Racing Commission, the Hensley brothers concealed the existence an equal partner, Clarence “Teak” Baldwin, who had been banned from any ownership role due to illegal bookmaking activities.[16] A 1953 New Mexico State Police investigation found further that Kemper Marley was a financial backer for bookmakers and had connections with Baldwin and with the bookmaking operations of organized crime,[16] a conclusion echoed decades later by the Arizona Project investigative reporting team.[17] The Hensley brothers gained their Ruidoso Downs racetrack license in 1953, as no New Mexico law barred convicted felons from race track ownership,[18] although in 1955 new Governor of New Mexico John F. Simms said he was “appalled” by the previous administration’s decision to do so.[18] Previous Governor Edwin L. Mechem had defended the approval, saying that the Hensleys had been under constant surveillance and deserved continued attention, but that no action was taken against them because the investigation showed that as race tracks go, all laws apparently were being observed.[19] Jim Hensley sold his interest in Ruidoso Downs to his brother Eugene in 1955 (who in turn sold it to a Marley-connected company in 1969).[6]

Has there been a time in the past 50 years where some part of Africa isn’t starving?
Remember Live Aid ?
When all those virtue signaling musicians got together to do something about the famine in Africa at the time.
Bob Geldoff even got Knighted over his efforts.

Maybe nobody gives a crap about starvation in Nigeria because they literally ripped off thousands of little old ladies and men of their life savings.

There’s an old saying over on the Dark Continent.

This Is Africa

The Chicago American was a William Randolph Hearst newspaper- competition directly with NYSlimes, and Chicago Tribune in this case.

This is a great screen take- can it be downloaded so one can read the article?

Written by Gareth Jones, Welsh born reporter for the NYTimes who worked for Lloyd George and sneaked into Ukraine and discovered the Holdomor. His NYTimes boss- Duranty (who was a pervo lunatic, and was controlled by Stalin’s police with films and threats- so wrote constantly there was no famine anywhere in Soviet Union, cause Stalin made him say this). The movie Mr. Jones is phenomenal and horrifying. Jones escaped the clutches of Duranty and Stalin- and approached Hearst at his Welsh Mansion— Hearst saw a way to trash the NYTimes with this reporting. And the NKVD never forgot Jones, murdering him in pre-WWII Manchukuo Japanese Mongolia- tracked him down.

Got a link to this front page maybe get it enlarged?

Thanks!

It’s a lot like homelessness. Incurable with liberal nostrums and it is a HUGE business to pretend to be doing something useful.
