Legalization of grass and killing babies.
The rats know how to turn out their sick base.
How I despise direct democracy.

It’s unfortunate but the ballot initiative is almost certain to pass.

democrats love it because it makes people very dumb just like them

This is what a collapsed failed society looks like.
Not a good place for children at all.

There are some cities that would greatly benefit from smelling like marijuana... vs. what they actually do smell like. New Orleans in the morning comes immediately to mind.

Blue Dream has a nice fragrance.

"This state will start to smell like marijuana in our cities and towns, it will reduce the quality of life."
Makes sense. Southern Oregon does during the fall as the plants mature.

Then maybe he might want to think about securing the state’s elections...

I don’t understand why they can’t manage to get these high rat turnout props on the primary ballots. It is so obvious

DeSantis should do public nuisance law. People can do what they want, as long as it's in their homes and they're not bothering others.
If they do it out in public, fine them, $500.

How I despise direct democracyAt least FL has s 60% threshold. Oregon passed draconian gun laws by Initiative Petition. Patently un-Constitutional, and no legislative body ...read “electorally accountable”...would have dared to attempt the measure. It did force our Governor and Attorney General to say that they supported it, but I knew they were rat tyrants, already.

A couple of things that might be hopeful, Florida voters have consistently voted against casino gambling except when run by the Seminole Tribe and it takes 60% to pass a constitutional amendment in Florida
BTW, Republicans outnumber Democrats by nearly 900,000

Aren’t there non smoking laws? Smoking is smoking whether it is pot or tobacco.
To: sjmjax
I am libertarian when it comes to pot. However, he is correct. It stinks to high heaven, and you smell it everywhere in Chicago. It stinks on people's clothes and skin; you smell it everywhere, even where people cannot smoke. It is an unintended consequence. Legalizing pot drives up the cost because of taxes and overhead. So you still have to contend with illegal sales, just like moonshiners.
They spent decades genetically developing stronger pot. Could someone not find a way to make it smell neutral or at least less like a rabid skunk?

Skunky. Smelled it in South Carolina recently walking by a low cost rental apartment. I know there are no skunks there.
To: kaktuskid
Tobacco is not a big deal. You can’t really smell it when you’re outside.
To: Jacquerie
I’ve never been to Florida, but with the climate down there, I’m surprised it doesn’t already smell like weed.

There are no smoking laws, but just like cigarettes, the stink permeates clothing and skin. I am a non-smoker and always have been. I will not buy a car that a smoker owned and even passed on buying a nice home because the ceilings were yellow and the walls reeked of tobacco. I would always smell that nasty odor. Even stopped dating a pretty girl, every time she snuck out for a cigarette, she tried to cover it up with perfume, which just made it worse.
