Driver rams into gate at FBI Atlanta office in Chamblee (Georgia)

The Federal Bureau of Investigation confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that a driver rammed into the front gate at its Atlanta offices.

The crash happened just after 12 p.m. at the offices off Flowers Road in Chamblee. A photo shared by a Channel 2 Action News viewer shows the car and the damaged gate.

A bureau spokesperson confirmed that DeKalb police arrested the man, but had no further information at this time. The man’s name has not been released.

According to a radio report I heard the guy got out of the crashed car and then started running towards the building before they captured him.

I went to the federal building to get tax forms a few weeks back. It’s ridiculous, an armed camp, 12 armed guys protecting their lobby from US. Shoes, belt, jacket off, metal detector and all. You know what they think of us. After what they’ve done to us, maybe they assume everyone has a reason to be super pi$$ed.

FBI officials told Channel 2′s Tom Regan that the man driving a crossover vehicle tried to follow an FBI employee into the parking lot.

He was just trying to 'discuss' some of the employee's comments on FaceBook. /s

AFAIC, if I were on a jury for this, I'd Not-Guilty it in a heartbeat. The FBI are a bunch of criminals themselves, IMO.
