My guess is that the Feds do not want to reveal their alarm over the potential use of large commercial trucks to deliver devastatingly large bombs that could take out a city center, a large crowd, or critical infrastructure.

A handful of such attacks using commercial trucking would shut down the country, paralyze the economy, and impede the harvesting, processing, and delivery of food. And with our open borders policies under Biden and the Democrats, there can be little doubt that enough potential terrorists are on the loose in the country to carry off such attacks.

You could be right, but after I read the article I took it as the Feds wanting complete control over the trucking industry.

The speculation is the new rule would require all trucks involved in interstate shipping to install electronic monitoring devices in order for the Feds to track in real time exactly where all trucks in America are located and what they were doing.

Ask yourself, why would the Feds want to know in real time where all the truckers are and where they are heading.

Look at the situation in Canada and what’s going on over in Europe, I think the Feds want to know in advance of any truckers congregating or moving into a particular location to know if potential protests that could be on the way for whatever crap the Feds are up to.

My guess is that the Fed’s don’t want to draw attention to a dirty little secret in the trucking industry: Most big trucking companies SUPPORT this kind of surveillance in the industry. The companies already do this sort of thing for their own operations.

It’s the DRIVERS in the industry who are the strongest opponents to these surveillance measures.
