It is so cloudy here, ruined viewing.🙁

I’ll just have to settle for the few rats I saw while looking for a parking space. The new generation is here.

A prominent pro-life group on Monday admonished former President Donald Trump for saying the abortion issue should be decided by each state and not by a national ban.
Trump, via a video posted Monday on Truth Social, said he still believes abortion laws should be determined by state laws.
Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America’s president was quick to accuse Trump of ceding debate on the issue to Democrats.
“We are deeply disappointed in President Trump’s position,” Marjorie Dannenfelser said in a statement. “Unborn children and their mothers deserve national protections and national advocacy from the brutality of the abortion industry. The Dobbs decision clearly allows both states and Congress to act.
“Saying the issue is ‘back to the states’ cedes the national debate to the Democrats who are working relentlessly to enact legislation mandating abortion throughout all nine months of pregnancy. If successful, they will wipe out states’ rights.”
Despite criticizing Trump’s comments, Dannenfelser added that SBA Pro-Life America “and the pro-life grassroots will work tirelessly to defeat President [Joe] Biden and extreme congressional Democrats” because “lives [are] on the line.”
In discussing abortion during his video, Trump said he supported exceptions for rape, incest, and to protect the life of the mother.
Trump nominated three Supreme Court justices who joined other conservative on the bench in June 2022 to overturn Roe v. Wade, which had legalized abortion nationwide.
In Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the justices voted 6-3 decision to uphold a Mississippi law that bans abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy, confirm that the Constitution does not enshrine a right to an abortion, and say that the issue correctly belongs with the states.
“My view is now that we have abortion where everybody wanted it from a legal standpoint, the states will determine by vote or legislation or perhaps both,” Trump said in his video. “And whatever they decide must be the law of the land. In this case, the law of the state.”

No! We were not rained out ... it was a glorious event!!
We did have some clouds, but, we caught the eclipse off and on, while the clouds drifted by.
But ... the most amazing thing ... was the totality. EVERYTHING went nighttime dark, for almost 2 mins.
Birds were singing/chirping LOUDLY just before ... became quiet during ... then, picked up, normally, after.
Such a fun and rare experience to share with kids/grandkids.
SIL shot drone footage ... no idea, yet, how that turned out, but, our camera vids caught great footage of the area, solar lights coming on in yards, etc.
Wondering how Allegra’s viewing went ... she is further north, than us.

I don’t believe Graham one bit.
He’s using this issue to sway people against President Trump.
President Trump did the right thing.
He can only do so much.
Now is the time for people within EACH State to fight the abortion issue.
It’s much easier dealing with 50 little parts than one huge one.

I agree with President Trump 100%
Ever since Lindsey palled around with McCain, I have not trusted him.
He’s a snake and he is not going to do anything to help Trump win the Presidency.
He will sabotage Trump every chance he gets.
