In California, you must be 18 to get a divorce. But there is no minimum age to get married, as long as a parent or guardian consent and a court gives permission. California is among just seven states, including New Mexico and Oklahoma, that does not have a minimum age for marriage.

I’m both grateful and very sad to say that Justices Thomas and Alito are the only thing holding the United States together, right now. If you’re the praying type, you might want to pray very hard for their continued health and welfare.
The only semblance of a spine that Roberts, Barrett, Gorsuch and Kavanaugh possess is effectively on loan from Thomas and Alito.

WHAT spine specialist??
Hubby and I drove 45 miles to see this ***ing Doctor.
I get to check in...
“Oh, Mrs _______, you don’t have an appointment today!
Your appt isn’t until the 29th.”
I said ‘YOU guys called me, and changed the appointment I
had to THIS appt, I didn’t just pull it out of my uh, hat”
Then she looked at me like she had sucked on a lemon, and started in
with “WELL! I don’t know how YOU came up with that!”
I stood up, gathered up my things and walked OUT.
I came storming back to our van, where my poor innocent husband had been snoozing
when I made a noise like “RATA-TAT-TAT!” on the window with my knuckles.
He leapt up off the seat thinking it was probably a cop!
So I stormed at him for about 5 minutes and said “I don’t want to talk about it anymore!”
(I think he gave thanks unto the Lord for that!
He got me a lovely coffee and took me shopping!
Smart (and SWEET man!) I love him so!
I stayed away from our thread because of all this crap.
Now, I either have to go back there on the 29th and eat crow, or start all over
somewhere else. (Let’s see-nope, no crow recipes)
I am currently looking at a pain clinic closer to home, and it looks pretty nice!
