Something has to give, Ms. B. The corruption just keeps marching, full steam ahead. That whole cabal, except for the odd warrior here and there, has been milking the country for years. It’s one great big money making operation and has been for a long time. They don’t give a rat’s ass about the people, other than needing to lie to them every four years to keep them in power, and working to pay for their own abuse.
We have a large fig tree in a pot, coming out of the shed as soon as it warms up enough. The shed is heated to about 40 degrees all winter to keep it alive. The other big fig tree is planted right in the greenhouse, which operates all winter. I sure wish I like fresh figs (or any figs) because it produces tons of them!
My son just got back from a week in Mexico and he dropped by today to catch up.
He was telling me that they met a few Texans while there and he got into a pretty good conversation with them. They were telling him that everyone they knew was preparing for civil war. They said they’ve all got so much more 2A supplies than anyone knows. I hope this is true. I guess one of them and my son got on very well (any talk of hunting, fishing, and 2A stuff would do it) and he’s promising to come up and visit some time soon. Funny.
So cute! Nothing like the laugh of a baby.
I was listening to something the other day explaining how much money people are making being hired by California to deal with the homeless. Naturally, once something is assisted rather than diminished, it flourishes. Homeless Inc.
To me, baby giggles sounds like the sweetest wind chimes in the world!

A pursuit was initiated and ended after OSP reported Huizar had sustained a self-inflicted gunshot to the head. His condition at this time is unknown.”

In his essay “Service and the Spectrum,” Professor Daniel Bowman Jr. writes of the difficulty of navigating decisions about how to serve his church as an autistic person. He explains, “Autistic people have to forge a new path forward every single time, a unique path that takes into account . . . mental, emotional, and physical energy . . . alone/recharging time; sensory inputs and comfort level . . . time of day; whether or not we’re being valued for our strengths and accommodated for our needs rather than excluded for perceived deficits; and much more.” For many people, Bowman writes, such decisions, “while reorienting people’s time and energy, likely will not undo them. Those same decisions might well undo me.”
Bowman believes that the vision of mutuality Paul describes in 1 Corinthians 12 could be a healing solution. There, in verses 4-6, Paul describes God uniquely gifting each of His people for “the common good” (v. 7). Each is an “indispensable” member of Christ’s body (v. 22). When churches come to understand each person’s unique, God-given wiring and gifting, instead of pressuring everyone to help in the same way, they can support their members to serve in ways that fit their giftings.
In this way, each person can find flourishing and wholeness and be secure in their valued place in Christ’s body (v. 26).

In bed after busy day outdoors today playing in dirt!
Made tacos for dinner. Used spinach herb wraps, fine grate Mexi cheese blend n my “meat” filling using veggie crumble chorizo and hamburger as base. Added the meats to fine chop sautéed green pepper & onions . Couple teaspoons of taco seasoning and catsup
