The mistakes of the Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan wars appear lost on many. Today, we hear stirring calls to arms against Russia from a totally corrupt and dangerous media supporting a rogue American regime. Unfortunately, several establishment Republicans stand in support. Senators Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham are at the forefront of the Republican establishment’s support for confronting Russia. I would include Senators John Cornyn and John Thune in the mix, along with House members like Dan Crenshaw and, certainly, former House member Liz Cheney.
Even if the United States were to win such a war on the battlefield, we would lose. At best, it would be a Pyrrhic victory.
###
In a war with Russia, American soldiers will be forced to fight with horrendous casualties. When this happens, Americans will relive the Vietnam War.
Also, as our Afghan withdrawal displayed, we have no Pentagon leadership. That leadership will also direct a war against Russia. Moreover, today’s woke military will not fare well against battle-hardened Russian troops. Many fighters have been forced out because of their Judeo-Christian values. Others are gone for refusing to surrender their right not to take an experimental vaccine that has unknown efficacy and side effects. Woke troops will not get the job done.
###
Moreover, a war with Russia would be worse than the Vietnam quagmire. People alive then remember that the war so badly damaged our nation’s society that all faith in government and the inherent belief in the moral fiber of our society was wiped out for almost 20 years. President Reagan restored it.

In my opinion the beginning of the end for President Trump occurred on January 28th, 2020.
Two things happened that day, 1) a divided Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria map was published by the White House and 2) Fauci arrived in the WH Situation room for the first time.
I had to wonder to myself if evil dr sickle was knocking on the door the same hour the map was published?
And yes they want a war because they want chaos and the so-called ‘order’ they will create out of it. They want our money and weapons depleted and our borders overrun. This is not a battle against flesh and blood, there is evil at work here and has been ratcheting up since barry sotoro was installed and is now in overdrive since September of 2022.
The strongman of the house must be bound as Jesus said,
The USA has to be impeded, brought down hindered and the middle class destroyed. We have been given over to reprobate minds having power and authority to rule over us. They will eventually turn to food for control, communists always do.
We are witnessing a ‘toria nuland’ style color revolution against the USA and the end game is to bring in the great WEF reset and NWO with digital controls and ultimately allowing for AI governance to accomplish what they believe has always failed in the past. This will be understood to be a Beast when it finally is allowed to arrive.
“...there is NO national interest in Ukraine”.
And NONE in Israel...
I think you hit most of the high points there, I’m sure with some time to study on it we could find more.
air raid alarms:
Yep! Every Thursday at noon.
Clinton and Obama were still elected by the American people and they were POTUS during all those international negotiations and agreements. You cannot just wash your hands of your international commitments just because they were agreed upon by Democrats.
If Ukraine hadn't scrapped their SRBMs stockpile (capable of hitting Moscow), along with the missile launchers, support vehicles and factory lines for producing more of them, at the behest of the Obama administration, it's possible Putin would not have invaded them. This, and the previous strategic errors, are presumably why Biden is such a staunch supporter of Ukraine; he knows this catastrophe wouldn't be happening if Russia hadn't cleverly tricked successive US governments into helping to weaken Ukraine.
Due to Western security promises the Ukrainians had previously (during the Clinton administration) scrapped, or handed over to Russia, their fleet of strategic long-range (nuclear-capable) bombers and cruise missiles:
https://twitter.com/sumlenny/status/1732010631161614385
But before you dismiss the Ukrainians as dumb, you have to keep in mind that the leaders of Ukraine during those negotiations were PRO-RUSSIAN SHILLS. They did not care about the viability of an independent Ukrainian state in the future, in fact they wanted to weaken it enough for Russia to be able to take it by force if necessary. They secretly took their orders from the Kremlin and were Russia's puppets. That is why after Viktor Yanukovych fled the country in 2014 (Putin's last puppet President there) the Russians invaded Crimea and the Donbass, because if they couldn't control the Ukrainian President then they needed to physically take over the country's valuable strategic areas instead.
But none of this excuses the USA from its security promises and moral duty to help Ukraine. No foreign government is asking the USA to go to war over Ukraine. The Ukraine is not even a member of NATO (it was black-balled by France and Germany in 2006).
However, the least the US can do is honour its publicly stated commitment to help Ukraine if it came under attack from Russia and send it arms/ammunition/provisions so that it can halt ongoing brutal Russian aggression. The EU/Britain are matching the financial cost of the USA's support packages to Ukraine, so the US is not going it alone.
Get this through skull -- the people of Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk overwhelmingly voted for Viktor Yanukovych. They had EVERY RIGHT to seceded from Ukraine and join the Russian Federation after a President they voted for was illegal removed from office.
The people in those regions were overwhelmingly ethnically Russia or culturally so and were NO OBLIGATION to be persecuted, killed and driven from their homes by Ukrainian nationalists that despised them.
And, we most certainly helped foment the illegal coup in Ukraine in 2014. That is root cause of the current war. We did so intentionally so our elite (like the Bidens, Soros and BlackRock) and defense industry could make $$$ in Ukraine.
You're the one spewing Deep State and Biden regime propaganda here.
What did in Ukraine is a disgrace and decent and moral people aren't going to tolerate it, especially given that is has pushed us closer to WW III and nuclear war than we were during Cold War and has led to the rise of BRICS and de-dollarization.
Our meddling in Ukraine has been a disaster. It never a thing to do with national security and everything to do with the greed of our elite.
Take your Deep State garbage and shove it.
***So, insurrections and illegal coups are perfectly okay with you. It’s okay when that happens in other countries but not when it allegedly happens here?***
It was the Ukrainian Parliament who voted to remove President Viktor Yanukovych after he ran away and abandoned his post (subsequent to having almost 100 protestors killed). Early elections were then scheduled on the grounds that he had withdrawn from his constitutional duties. He was just a Kremlin puppet who showed his true colours to his countrymen.
***Get this through skull — the people of Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk overwhelmingly voted for Viktor Yanukovych. They had EVERY RIGHT to seceded from Ukraine and join the Russian Federation after a President they voted for was illegal removed from office.***
Or they could have just voted for the next pro-Russian shill Presidential candidate, or better still, gone to live in Russia if they love it so much, rather than starting a civil war at the behest of the Kremlin. And no they didn’t have any legal right to secede from Ukraine.
***The people in those regions were overwhelmingly ethnically Russia or culturally so and were NO OBLIGATION to be persecuted, killed and driven from their homes by Ukrainian nationalists that despised them.***
After they started a civil war because they didn’t like seeing the back of Russia’s puppet President. They were at liberty to go and live in Russia if they love it so much and hate Ukrainian nationalism (even inside Ukraine), rather than giving Russia an excuse to invade after they conspired with it to start a civil war.
The only reason most of their ancestors went there in the first place was because Stalin killed millions of innocent Ukrainian civilians in the Holodomor (man-made famine) and the Nazis wiped out millions more and they needed more Russians to take their places.
“ Why Are So Many Pushing for America to Have a Hot War with Russia?”
It’s not so many. They just have a big megaphone.
And why?
The Czar was mean to their ancestors.
What a load of propaganda that is. You're of your father, the devil, A LIAR. Here's what really happened:
https://world.time.com/2014/02/22/ukraines-president-flees-protestors-capture-kiev/
Ukraine’s beleaguered President Viktor Yanukovych fled Kiev Saturday as protestors took full control of Ukraine’s capital, signaling a dramatic turn in the three-month crisis just hours after the signing of an European Union-sponsored peace deal.
As police abandoned their posts across the capital, the opposition established control over key intersections and captured the presidential palace, setting up a perimeter around Yanukovych’s former residence, reports the Associated Press. Ukraine’s parliament passed a resolution stating Yanukovych “is removing himself [from power] because he is not fulfilling his obligations,” and voted to hold early presidential elections on May 25.

This is an illegal we fomented against the wishes of those in Crimea and eastern Ukraine, who supported Yanukovych. Those regions that were disenfranchised had and have every right to their independence or to join the Russian Federation AND DID. And, there isn't a damn thing that will change that.
Whether you like or don't like, start learning to live with it.
And, before we waste any penny of taxpayer dollars on this debacle, we can drag you and your ilk through the streets by your testicles since you like revolutions so much.
Would you please STOP POSTING FACTS and ruining all the fun.
Brits want to stir the pot and expect their colonists in America to do all the funding and provide a manpower for a war against Russia.
I'd rather see the Russians take over Britain before Muslims do.
Ukraine merits nothing. They brought it on thrnsrnves. We have enough problems here. They are not my circus nor my monkeys.
Ukraine’s beleaguered President Viktor Yanukovych fled Kiev Saturday as protestors took full control of Ukraine’s capital...***
So you admit he ran away like a little wussie? Well done. He was the President! He would have had a security team to protect him and he would have called on the Armed Forces to put down the protests. But, guess what, the Armed Forces explicitly refused to get involved. I wonder why? Maybe giving the order to kill all those protestors made people dislike him a bit?
***This is an illegal we fomented against the wishes of those in Crimea and eastern Ukraine, who supported Yanukovych***
Actually, they didn't all support Yanukovych in the east:
####
...One of Yanukovych’s big problems is that the mass movement is no longer limited to the central and western parts of Ukraine, where the antipathy toward him and his Party of Regions is strongest. ... But its position in Sumy and Poltava in the northeast seems equally shaky. Worse still for Yanukovych, demonstrations have erupted in various places in Ukraine’s Russophone Donbass region: Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhya. Though the government’s position remains relatively strong in the east, what’s becoming clear is that the opposition to Yanukovych has now become national in scope, even though a unified leadership does not guide it. The notion, which is commonplace, that what’s happening in Ukraine can be reduced to the country’s east-west divide is being revealed as simplistic...
####
In fact, he was the least popular President in Ukraine's history since its independence.
***Those regions that were disenfranchised had and have every right to their independence or to join the Russian Federation***
They had the right to vote for another pro-Russian candidate in the upcoming election if they wished, not to declare independence and join Russia. Don't be so ridiculous.
***before we waste any penny of taxpayer dollars on this debacle***
The USA and Britain made an agreement to help Ukraine if it came under attack from Russia due to giving up its nuclear weapons in 1994. We have a moral duty to help them fight off Russian aggression by sending munitions etc.
***we can drag you and your ilk through the streets by your testicles since you like revolutions so much***
The USA is a country born of a revolution against the brutal imperialistic superpower of its time, Britain. Therefore, it seems rather hypocritical of you to deny the Ukrainians the opportunity to get rid of their corrupt pro-Russian puppet President after he committed an atrocity in order to have a fresh election, unless you are not actually an American. Are you a Russian, by any chance?
Those foolish Ukrainians, living in a country that Russia covets and wanting to be free and independent. What were the Ukrainians thinking?
I’ll save my replies for intelligent people. Good day.
Britain has the capability to nuke the largest 14 cities in Russia and kill at least 60 million Russians. Remember that and tell all your Russian friends that we will be happy to do it if they try to screw with us.
I notice that Putin's favourite Russian state TV propagandist, Vladimir Solovyov, has called for nuclear attacks to obliterate major Ukrainian cities. How charming of him. If that were to happen Britain and the USA would have to get involved militarily due to our promises to Ukraine in the Budapest Memorandum of 1994.
***A former defense minister in Britain estimated the Brits would last about two weeks against the Russian military.***
What he said was that they only maintain enough ammunition for a full-blown conventional war on all fronts against Russia for 2 weeks. The reason is that the UK Ministry of Defence expect it to go nuclear early on. In which case, all conventional forces would be eliminated by tactical nuclear weapons and nuclear retaliation would occur.
***Brits want to stir the pot and expect their colonists in America to do all the funding and provide a manpower for a war against Russia.***
Actually, Britain and the EU are currently matching the USA's financial support to Ukraine. Britain was the first western country to give anti-tank weapons (NLAWs), Main Battle Tanks and artillery to Ukraine. No one in power here has ever talked about starting a war with Russia over Ukraine. That's the product of your paranoid imagination.
Here's some good news for Ukraine! Next month they will start receiving batches of 1 million (increased from 800,000) 155mm artillery shells, thanks to an initiative of the good old Czech Republic. You have to love the feisty Czechs!
***I'd rather see the Russians take over Britain before Muslims do.***
Racism much? So if you are not a Russian (even though Kazan is a city in Russia) or an American, what are you? Presumably, someone who hates Britain and muslims. Are you a Serb?
Let's get this right -- YOU have no problem with illegal coups that drive out democratically-elected leaders from office? That doesn't surprise me in the least.
And, I have ZERO problem with Russia intervening in Ukraine on behalf of the voters who were disenfranchised and ended up being persecuted and killed by the rogue Ukrainian nationalist government that took over.
In fact, I'm quite pleased those in the recently annexed part of the Russian Federation finally live in a free country and under a government that respects their rights as citizens.
That annexed territory will never, ever be part of Ukraine again that is if Ukraine even exists after the war is over.
If the Ukraine people weren't dumb, why did they elect Leonid Kravchuk, who you call a Russian shill as their first President? That's on them. I'm not responsible for their bad decisions. The U.K. was also involved in the Budapest Memorandum. It's time they stepped up, and encouraged the rest of Europe to step up too, and police their own backyard. It's not our job. Other countries we have had treaties and agreements with have broken them repeatedly, so what justifies sticking to a memorandum that wasn't even approved by Congress, nor ever been ratified. It's just a piece of paper.
You can ramble on all you want, trying to justify saving Ukraine's ass, and I'm saying, I have no interest in that country, or any country that has gotten where they are because of bad decisions, and another country has come along to take advantage of that. This country is where it is because of lies, deceit, manipulation, corruption and lawlessness. We are in an extremely weak position, and our enemies are taking advantage of it. Excuse me if I'm a bit more concerned about my own country's wellbeing than some spit of land I have no connection to.
I'm not Ukraine's Mommy. I already raised two sons alone, and have no interest in paying to raise anyone else's. The fact that you are repeating the talking points from the Biden Administration, and the likes of Antony Blinken makes me cringe.
Nonsense. The EU has only contributed $84 billion total to Ukraine.
We've spent at least $113 billion on it.
And, you know damn well the ONLY chance Ukraine would have "winning" would be with direct US involvement. NATO Europe would get its ass kicked the Russians.
American citizens will tolerate US troops on the ground. You can give up that idea. Since that is true, the only course of action for Ukraine, if it wants to save what's left of its country, would be to surrender. Continuing this war will only result in more dead Ukrainians and more lost territory.
