Disney trades dwarfism for diversity with catastrophic results.

The Walt Disney Company has bent the knee and agreed to a settlement with the Ron DeSantis-appointed Central Florida Tourism Oversight District in exchange for dropping its state-level lawsuit. After over a year of legal machinations and false proclamations from a breathless press stating DeSantis had been beaten by "Mickey Mouse," the complete opposite turned out to be the truth.
Shocker, right? Who would have thought the press would lie to people? Nikki Haley also infamously backed Disney, urging the company to move to South Carolina.
The oversight district in question oversees Disney's local development. Before DeSantis wiped out its old membership, they passed a series of last-minute sweetheart deals for the entertainment company that essentially restored its "self-governing" status. Here's how Salon described the move at the time.
“Out-negotiated by Mickey Mouse,” a headline from Salon read. “DeSantis’ board reveals Disney quietly stripped them of power.”
Those deals, which were the entire point of this fight, are now null and void per the new settlement. The only concession DeSantis and the oversight district had to make was the dismissal of their countersuit (which is now unnecessary). In short, Disney lost on all fronts and the plan put in place by the governor has prevailed.

One beloved Walt Disney legacy after another is turned into politicized DEI dreck that has fans hysterically laughing and with-holding their money from whacked-out Disney at the same time.
LAUGH BREAK Disney’s “long-awaited” live-action revamp of Walt Disney’s beloved tale of “Snow White” has been delayed til 2025.
According to The Hollywood Reporter last October, Disney has decided to push back the release date for its redo of the Walt Disney classic.....now known as “Snow Woke.”
The delay is no doubt in response to the drubbing Disney got when they released images of Snow White alongside her dwarf pals (below).
While the lead actor looked more or less as expected, her seven companions all appeared to be portraying the DEI’ed seven dwarfs as a racially and physically diverse group of people, as opposed to a septet of people with dwarfism.
At the time, Disney scurried to emphasize to Vanity Fair that while those early photos were from Snow White’s set, they were not “official,” and depicted “stand-ins” for some cast members.
Obviously, set photos aren’t always indicative of how a movie turns out, but does seem to indicate that the new live-action Snow White is not going to take notes from the beloved 1937 Walt Disney film.
But given the approach Disney’s taken to updating its other remakes, it wouldn’t be at all surprising to see the new Snow Woke’s dwarfs looking like tricky woke cuties...... not like the story that made them famous.
It also did not help when Snow White star, Rachel Ziegler (Rachel who?), made some deplorable feminist-laden woke statements about her movie character.

Liberals usually win by default because, truth be told, liberals are dumb and their ideas are terrible.
Disney must have laughed when a single governor told them “No!”.
Disney figured wrong when they decided to try and walk over America's Governor. DeSantis wrecked them.
Now Disney limps away hoping to recoup their loss when Governor DeSantis terms out in 2026. Surely, they figure, there is not another politician in Florida that can get elected governor and slap them and their money down again.

OUTSTANDING - Yet ANOTHER victory for DeSantis. About the only ones that should be complaining are the Groomers...their life now gets more difficult with the government of Florida keeping a watch out in their parks.
This Warner Bros. cartoon from 1943 has been "banned" and "censored" but apparently it can still be found online for now. Hey Disney racists, you want Snow White NOT to be White? Well here you go. Enjoy it! I did.
