...And nothing of value would be lost.

I suspect state rights would take over until a national convention could be convened.

Live about 9 miles beyond the Capital Beltway at approximately 10:30 on a clock-face dial with the White House being the center of said clock.

Considering wind currents typically travel from Southwest to Northeast, chances of survival are pretty good.

Suppose it would depend on the height of the device when it detonates.

No survivors? Fear not! The cockroaches will inherit Washington and keep us safe. They’ll form a new government, complete with tiny podiums and debates about whether or not to ban insecticides.

Nobody would notice?

Productivity would skyrocket?

Free Speech would be allowed?

Angels would sing?

While we can laugh and joke about the prospect of nuclear war amd the destruction of DC—remember, the Helots are planning for just such a scenario to remove a few billion off the planet in a “safe and effective” manner.

I am so tired of all this crap. Let the Russians have their happiness, same with the Chinese and us here in America. The Davos crowd needs to have the wings of their private jets clipped.

Yes...yield and detonation height are the ultimate factors I guess. In any case, you should think about relocating to somewhere else when you retire, IMO. There are too many possibilities for some foreign group attacking DC at some time in the future.

A strike on Washington as described would be bad; many innocent people would be killed.

One good thing I can think of: all the Confederate statues have been removed from the strike zone.

After such a disaster we will need heroes to remember and emulate.

My kid lives 17 miles northwest of DC and out of the blast radius. Prevailing wind limits fallout in his direction.

Just sayin.

Congress would be gone and that would be reason for celebration by itself.

Just think, EPA, FDA, CDC, NIH, FBI, CIA, and all the other alphabet offices would be GONE too!!!!
