Russian authorities detained 11 people, state media reported Saturday, after gunmen stormed a concert hall in Moscow in a grisly attack that left at least 115 people dead.
Russia's Investigative Committee said four of those detained were directly involved in the attack that left the sprawling shopping mall and music venue smoldering with a collapsed roof.
Russian agencies appeared to suggest the attack was linked to Ukraine even though the Islamic State group claimed responsibility in a statement. A U.S. intelligence official told The Associated Press that U.S. agencies had confirmed that that group was responsible for the attack.
The four suspects were stopped in the Bryansk region of western Russia, “not far from the border with Ukraine,”

“The fighters of the “AKHMAT-RUSSIA” Regiment of the Ministry of Defense of the country, deployed in the Bryansk region and providing protection of the state border between Russia and Ukraine, together with the Special Purpose Center of the FSB, detained four terrorists in the Bryansk region attempting to cross the Russian-Ukrainian border, who directly participated in the shooting of people at Crocus City Hall.
Chechen fighters arrived at the search area for the terrorists at around three o’clock in the morning and immediately began searching the area together with the FSB’s Special Purpose Center and fighters from the Leningrad Military District of the Russian Armed Forces.
With the task of capturing the killers alive, they successfully accomplished it despite the risks. None of the law enforcement officers were harmed during the special operation.

Border between Ukraine and Russia is closed with probably about half a million Russian soldiers stationed on the border, or inside Ukraine.
It would be much easier to cross into Turkey, whose border is open.

Maybe Russian venues should offer free tickets to off-duty armed police officers.

The Ukrainians did this, we all know it. This is who they are, they use their own citizens as human shields and send terrorist in to kill civilians. I hope Russia takes em all out.
