iOS has not reached 25% of the world market, but Merrick Garland and the DOJ has decided that less than one quarter share is a “monopoly”!
Think of the millions spent on government and Apple lawyers in this waste and all that cost will be paid by us for this fiasco.
Legally, you can have a monopoly in a particular sector or market, even if you are not a dominant player in a broader market or the world market. I’m not saying that Apple is a monopoly, just that Apple’s share of the U.S. market is more relevant than Apple’s share of the world market.
