In California - we found out the hard way - that a “guest” staying in your home for more than three days has the same rights as a rent-paying tenant - you have to go through a very long, lengthy legal procedure to evict them - that is if you can find a judge who will do the right thing, many of them won’t and give the “tenant” stay after stay. Cops won’t do a thing b/c it’s a “civil matter.”
We now have a hard rule that NO ONE stays in our home more than three days.

Squatting laws are just another example of the very corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification Congress not doing its 14th Amendment duty to make penal laws to discourage state actors from abridging constitutionally enumerated protections imo, 5th Amendment right to be compensated for state effective eminent domain of private property in this example imo.

Beloved but worthless celebrity lawmakers need to be replaced with Trump-supporting patriot lawmakers in November so that hopeful Trump 47 will not be a lame duck president from the first day of his second term in office, but will be supported by the new Congress to finish draining the swamp.

There IS one guy in California who started a business getting rid of squatters (heard him on my local radio show) - I’m sure he isn’t cheap.
His mother moved into assisted living and squatters moved into the home - cops wouldn’t do a thing. He had his mother lease the home to him and he moved right in with the squatters (who called the cops on him) - he produced a legitimate lease for the house, but the cops wouldn’t remove the squatters.
He said he set about to make their lives absolute hell until they left - said it usually happens within a day. He now has a team that does this - I’m sure he charges a lot of money b/c of the risk involved.
They have been encouraged to invade our country with no consequences. Why not invade our homes?
Yes, and I hope he appoints and surrounds himself with people who won’t stab him in the back, as happened during his first term.

In my California neighborhood, we’ve made a point of meeting each other - for safety reasons, if anything. Many in this neighborhood are foreign, but wish for the same things the rest of us want - safe streets, parks and schools.
Fortunately, most of us are either retired or work from home - and are able keep an eye on the neighborhood 24/7.

A lot of Democrat politicians are urging home owners in Blue States to “take in migrants” as a humanitarian gesture.
Once the illegals are invited into the house , they have squatters rights and the home owners will probably never be able to get rid of them.
They may even be able to force the home owners out of their homes and take over.

As my late uncle would say upon encountering such issues. I know two guys who will break your legs for $50, for $100 you get cart blanch choices.
I would shoot them upon opening the door and encountering them in my home and I would wait until they had assumed room temperature and then call the police and report I had shot an intruder and then lawyer up.
