Former President Donald Trump and eight codefendants can seek an appeal to the order that denied the disqualification of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis in the Trump case, Fulton County Judge Scott McAfee ruled Wednesday.
On Friday, Trump filed a motion to disqualify Willis from the Georgia election interference case. McAfee ruled that Willis could remain on the Trump case if Nathan Wade, fellow prosecutor and ex-lover, is removed by Willis or voluntarily resigns. Wade resigned hours later.

It might. It’s far from certain that her replacement would continue to prosecute the case.
And I think that’s him allowing this to go somewhere and someone else can make a decision he knows he has to make but can’t/wont.
There will be no one to try.
The case relies on tainted evidence to them by corrupt state personnel. I doubt you’ll many that want pick up the fight where Willis and her boyfriend were taken out.
True, her replacement, maybe the county even, will say enough, stop further funding and time on the matter. Can the county afford the cases? Will the state or feds underwrite the costs?
Exactly. And Fanni was chosen for this mission because she’s corrupt enough to make such a blatantly political indictment. No doubt this indictment was planned in cooperation with the DOJ and the Biden White House. Finding a replacement for her who’s as corrupt and who has as little regard for their integrity and good name as Fanni does, may not be so easy.
The owner of the Jets is a strong supporter of Trump. Is he next?
Notice the writing here. The stooge is given his title of nobility as a “judge” while the hated one is called plain old “Trump.”
Breitbart is as bad as The Hill.
Try again; his conclusion was based on his interpretation on an issue of law.
The owner of the Patriots (Robert Kraft (worth $11 billion) is a good friend of Trump and the feds tried to ensnare him in some kind of Day Spa sex scandal.
.....Snip.....
Kraft was among 25 people facing first-degree misdemeanor charges for soliciting prostitution at a day spa in 2019.[122] Kraft’s attorney electronically entered a not-guilty plea, and later submitted a court filing where Kraft waived arraignment, plead not guilty to all charges and requested a jury trial.[128] A memo filed by Kraft’s attorneys revealed that hidden cameras had been installed when investigators entered the facility under the guise of a bomb threat.[133] A Palm Beach County judge ruled that prosecutors could not use the videos in their case, citing privacy concerns.[134] A Florida appeals court also ruled that Kraft’s constitutional rights were violated, and all the charges were dropped.[139] US District Judge Rodolfo Ruiz ordered the videos to be destroyed.[140]
............with an odor of “bullshit”, this case will hover over America until November. Then it will die of exhaustion because no one will care any more. If Trump wins the case, effectively, it is moot. If Trump loses, like an old dog tired of a bone he’s chewed up, the Democrats will crawl away to the rathole they came out of. Then America will have dropped another notch toward extinction.
DID they visit with Kamala at the white House or at the VP RESIDENCE???
AS I understand, a new team would have to start from scratch & with new investigators.
Very possible it would have to move to another County, entirely.
I think that’s probably right. Would it be deemed worth the trouble and expense by a new DA? Probably not. And even if so, any trial would likely be postponed till after the election, which defeats the whole purpose.
There are far too many that call themselves “Republican” or “Conservative”, to include even more in the “conservative media” world. Shameful.
The defendants will get appellate review of their motion to recuse, but the appellate court will rely on the case record already created by the judge that denies their claims.
A lot of what I see in our supposed “conservative” media looks like cut and paste from the Asspress.
