Third place is not bad when your not running
It is when you are the governor of the state and came in far behind another candidate who has also dropped out.

1. They won’t stay there
2. They will be counted to give a blue state more power in congress
3. Desantis is pushing migrants into the interior of the US
Biden not sleeping well he next.
You have ignored the impact of third parties—they will play a major role in this election.
Once we see what the third party field and financing looks like we will have better information.
The mass media talking point is that unless President Trump wins 100% in every primary he has big problems.
Tell that to all the other party nominees over the decades who had much tougher primary fights and then went on to win the general election.
Can you say Obama?
You have ignored the impact of third parties—they will play a major role in this election.
When's the last time a third party got even a single electoral vote? The only way in which 3rd party candidates influence election results is to peel off support for one of the major candidates. RFK Jr. could definitely play that role. Unfortunately, his anti-vaxx views mean he's more likely to attract RINO votes than Rat votes, but we'll see.
You bring up good points. But Obama had an actual primary opponent, a strong primary opponent, until the end. Last night, there were no primary opponents. They’ve all suspended their campaigns. Yet they in general got 20% of the vote. What becomes of that 20% in November? Some will close ranks around Trump. Others may not. I saw a headline that said 11% will vote for Biden. I don’t recall 08 Clinton voters saying they’d vote for McCain. Maybe they did.
The Democratic professionals are absolutely terrified of third parties.
There is a reason why.
What they know is that any third party “buzz” will take place on mass media—the same mass media that Democrats watch and believe while Republicans ignore.
A Media lie - but you knew that, joesFRdemocrat.
That's why you repeated it.
Here's a little heads-up, joesdemocratpartyoperative:

Yeah, it was a bloodbath for NT...
Thank you.
(BTW what mean, “NT”?)
NeverTrump
I recognized one of them as such but not the other...
Trump got 90%+ of the in-person vote. Haley got 20%+ from early, mail-in voting, which covers the time before she suspended.
Based on state county stats I saw from FLA.
joesbucks: "Oh, my beautiful NeverTrump lie is melting! What a world, what a world!"
Congrats to Trump. But to think he has this thing sewed up is concerning. In all those primary states Trump is getting 75%-80% of the GOP vote, while the demented one is getting 90% of the RAT vote. The RINO vote and white women vote could destroy the country.
In what state last night did Haley get 20+% of the vote?
Link to stats?
Still, DeSantis and Haley still got 10% of same day voting. I can’t find a stat for early and mail in befor and after Haley’s announcement. Haley made her announcement 2 weeks ago. Mandatory early voting began March 9th in FL. Each county can start earlier. Do you know how many counties started early voting prior to Haley’s announcement and how many waited until the latest date to start?
