Cooking on a gas stove in a tiny home is 100 times more deadly than leaving the car running in the garage, according to a new study out of Purdue University.
The findings indicate that cooking could lead to the deposition of 10 billion to 1 trillion nano-particles in a person's airways and the tracheobronchial region of the lungs.

Indicate? Could?
When did the scientific method die? Was it in the Carter, Clinton, or Obama era?
These folks need to shut up.
They are right in one aspect. Nobody has died keeping their electric stove on all night.
During every long power-outage there are stories of people dying because they had their generator running in the garage. Yet so few stories, let alone 100s, of people dying because they cooked dinner on a gas stove. Isn’t that odd?
We cook and run our hot water heater on propane. We heat with (the horror!) Wood. We were warm and cozy when we ran through several days on end in the minus 20s back in January.
This tiny house is 192 square feet.
Did anyone notice the article said propane?
100 times more dangerous?? Not 99, or 101 times more dangerous, but 100 times.

The experts might tell you, cook it if you have to on your gas stove but sit in your car parked in your garage with your engine running just to be safe from the corned beef and cabbage wafting through your house. That smell always got my appetite going but who am I to argue with an expert!? Beware the nano particles.
Eisenhower warned us of this in his farewell address, in the passage right after he warned of the military-industrial complex. He was right about that, too.
Stop worrying! It’s just bill gates trying to cool the earth down!
Or eat in any restaurant that cooks with natural gas!
First it gives you gas, then it kills you...
All those people who committed suicide by making an omelet on their gas stove over the last 100 years should have made that obvious, duh.
BTTT
Ultimately? China. Prove me wrong.
Range hoods?
PURDUE needs to give their janitors the diplomas.
The current crop of idiots have outlived their usefulness.
I have cooked on a gas stove for 48 of my 84 years.
I would have cooked on one since I was 18 if I had a choice.
Much easier to control the heat.
Also-—Much more efficient & costs less.
I have had GAS heat for over 48 years & WOOD STOVE for 12 ++ years. Cut the trees & split the wood myself. Cleaned up 5 acres over 3 years & had enough firewood for over 7 1/2 years. Would love to have a wood stove now. The long house I lived in was 2553 sq ft & the wood stove handled it.
