Former President Trump endorsed Sen. John Barrasso to become the next Senate Republican whip, saying the Wyoming lawmaker “will never let you down.”

“John Barrasso is a fantastic Senator for the incredible people of Wyoming,” Trump said in a Thursday evening post on Truth Social.

“He is running to be the next Republican Whip for the Senate Republican Conference, a very important job, to ensure we pass and enact Strong Legislation that puts America First,” Trump added. “I know John very well — he will never let you down.”

Barrasso, the Senate Republican Conference chair, is running unopposed for the whip position. He said last week he’d already secured enough votes to succeed Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.), who is running to replace Sen. Mitch McConnell (Ky.) as Senate Republican Leader.

People expect Trump to do every thing, while they sit back & criticize.

He’s not immune at all. He gets it from everyone. Shame that you are included in that number.

I have this strange belief that voters owe nothing to politicians, they owe everything to the people at least that supposed to be how it works, Trump is included in that. If not enough MAGA supporters get elected to support Trump that his fault not the voters fault.

Donald Trump is not a politician, that’s where you make your first of many mistakes.

We is diverse. Then there is us, as opposed to pure we.

There are not enough of us to always prevail absent the rest of the we.

He’s running for political office and that requires votes to win, that makes him a politician whether anyone likes it or not.

we are 74 million strong, and that is taking the numbers from the election. Even if we believe that Biden got 81 million votes, the most in history, that puts us within range to take over.

I suggest that we are not only in range, but have indeed taken over. Much of Biden's support is draining faster than the swamp can stop the drain from plugging it up.

I personally think that Donald John Trump won the 2020 election. It took far too long & there were far too many anomalies for the election to have been an honest one.

Do we have enough to thwart their election theft? We know that they will deploy the attempt, because they are crooks from the GetGo. That remains to be seen.

No, you are absolutely wrong. Politicians run for office in order to obtain positions of power.

Donald trump ran for office to try & save this nation. He would have greatly preferred that the politicians did the right thing for this nation & her people, so he could enjoy his wealth & family.

He is only running for reelection because he is dedicated to finish a job he started.

Yes, he needs votes to get into office. People like you who can only see him as a politician, and ignore the realities, are worthless, who in addition are quick to criticize him.

Thankfully people are waking up to what DJT really is. Way past time for you to do so also.

In order to finish the job he started, he needs more votes than Biden, he’s in the game of politics, that makes him a politician, saying he’s not is like saying someone in the NFL is not football player.

It’s my belief no politician is immune to criticism when they do stupid things, Mike Pence as VP was stupid, hailing the covid vaccines as great is pretty dumb and the idea that Trump is going to right this country in 4 years is not correct either, it’s taken a long time to get in this mess it’s going to take multiple strong Republicans in succession to have a long term impact.

Will Trump winning be a huge step in the right direction, absolutely, but when he screws up, he needs to hear about it to stay on the agenda and keep pushing forward.

In order to finish the job he started, he needs more votes than Biden, he’s in the game of politics, that makes him a politician, saying he’s not is like saying someone in the NFL is not football player.

You really do lack critical thinking skills.

Just because he is involved in the world of politics, does not make him a politician. It only means that to penetrate that realm it is necessary to play in that arena.

As I said before, politicians desire to obtain positions of power. DJT obtained that power via the business world. He didn't want to get into politics at all. If he had, he would have done it years before he did. He only got involved to try & save this nation that he loves, for the citizens & the world to be the beacon of freedom.

The fact that I have to even tell you this, coupled with your insistence that he is a politician, speaks volumes about your inability to correctly distinguish what makes a politician get involved in politics. It's not for the same reason DJT got involved. DJT is not the only one, there have been others who wanted to change things in Washington. But they soon either leave in disgust, or they adopt the corruption culture and enrich themselves. They didn't start at the top of the political hierarchy, Trump is the only outsider that successfully achieved that. Others who had tried, such as Ross Perot had always tried to penetrate via a 3rd Party, which is why they failed.

BTW, your analogy is just more stupidity from you. They do not get into the NFL by having people vote them in. Their past history in the game is what elevates them into the NFL.

DJT had no history of politics. In fact, his campaign trashed politicians of every striper, Republican & Democrat alike. Certainly not something that ones sees, and even more it raised doubts about his ability to do the job. It was his agenda that attracted voters. The fact that he was attacked for it, but he stayed with the agenda he set out to bring to the nation kept people supporting him.

No, DJT is not now, nor will he ever be a politician who tells you what you want to hear & ignores what you need to hear, because politicians are the most disingenuous people who walk this earth. Is Trump perfect? No way, but then no human is. But he also is not the monster they try to make him out to be either, and people are recognizing that.

As I already told you, it's way past time for you to so so as well, or not, that is your choice.

Have faith. Worry & doubt are good, because it keeps one from becoming complacent. This is a fight & we must win. we have to follow through once we get him back in office by reaching out to our politicians we send to D.C., as well as, at the local levels to either do our bidding or face our retribution at the voting booth.

But faith & prayer are more powerful than most people even realize. 🙂👍

Call it whatever you want but he’s a politician that’s not the kiss of death, it’s always with the criticism of you lack critical thinking skills or you are stupid and don’t get it when people like you are debating anything Trump it shows a remarkable lack of debating skills

No a politician is a person who desires to get into that arena, but you are unable to distinguish as to why Trump does not really qualify as a politician. I just call them as I see them. You can call me whatever you desire, because I do not care what you call me. You may even be right.

Trump is not a politician, never was before and still isn't even though he was the President. His lack of being a politician showed that he is not a politician in any sense of the word. Furthermore, he did exactly what he said he would do.

No, the guy who performed better than any other governor in America, that’s who. And the guy who opened his state long before Trump wanted him to.
I fully support Trump now, but I will never contract TCS, Trump Cult Syndrome.

It’s political without a doubt, but it doesn’t make the person a politician in the true sense of the word. At best it makes them a political figure. Big distinction a political figure & a politician. If you can’t see that distinction, then I guess we are both just wasting each others time.
