Judgement Day has finally arrived for Fani Willis.
Judge Scott McAfee, who presided over the Fulton County district attorney's disqualification proceedings, has ruled that Willis must step away from the Trump prosecution or cut ties with special prosecutor Nathan Wade, the private-practice attorney she hired to prosecute former President Donald Trump and with whom she had an undisclosed affair.
Advertisement According to the 23-page ruling, McAfee ordered, "[W]ere the case allowed to proceed unchanged, the prima facie concerns raised by the Defendants would persist. As the District Attorney testified, her relationship with Wade has only 'cemented' after these motions and 'is stronger than ever.' Wade’s patently unpersuasive explanation for the inaccurate interrogatories he submitted in his pending divorce indicates a willingness on his part to wrongly conceal his relationship with the District Attorney."
"As the case moves forward, reasonable members of the public could easily be left to wonder whether the financial exchanges have continued resulting in some form of benefit to the District Attorney, or even whether the romantic relationship has resumed."
"Put differently, an outsider could reasonably think that the District Attorney is not exercising her independent professional judgment totally free of any compromising influences. As long as Wade remains on the case, this unnecessary perception will persist," Merchant continued.

What a terrible Fani to get.
A professional, carefully worded b***h slap.
They both lied in front of a judge who knew it when he heard it. How can either possibly be allowed to prosecute the state’s case?
“Willis must step away from the Trump prosecution or cut ties with special prosecutor Nathan Wade”
So, the judge is trying to be Solomonic. Fani will just take a short break from Nathan. The case against The Bad Orange Man must proceed!

Just how many in the judiciary are political nitwits?
The judge uses the word “reasonable”.
I do not think it means what he think it means.
Seriously, her behavior is at the least, unbecoming to her office.
How can that low bred hood rat remain in power?
If it were a white or a Republican there would be marches in the street.
So, in other words, Big Fani is above the law in America’s new Lawfare Attack system. She can do whatever she wants.
So it’s ok for her to lie under oath as long as she fires lover boy. And people wonder why there is no longer any faith in the so called justice system.
“The judge is a coward who should have removed”
*************
When he refused to control her on the stand it was evident that the fix was in. She controlled his courtroom.
After this judgement I certainly wouldn’t call Scott McAfee superior in any way.
The Georgia state senate and the Ga Attorney General should disbar and prosecute the entire Fulton County DA s office!
So the judge realizes that they were hiding their relationship and deceiving the American people about it but allow her to continue on the case as long as she fires her lover. Yeah that’s justice /s.
Judge McAfee just destroyed another aspect of the judicial system in the USA. His decision stinks of overlooking the law and made a decision based on political issues.
Her unethical behavior and perjury should result not only in removal from office, the loss of her law license but jail time as well.
It’s a high tech lynching.
