Breaking now.
Her perjury was committed on national television. Her lies about when the affair began were proven. She committed perjury for all to see...
...and this.
I keep wondering how they’re going to stop Trump. We all know they WON’T / CAN’T let him become president. If lawfare fails, I submit they will certainly take him out. God be with him.
YOU ARE SOOOOO RIGHT.
I NEVER THOUGHT A MAN...A THINKING MAN...COULD OR WOULD BE SO STUPID.
THE GUY HAS GOT TO GO...BUT THE BROAD CAN STAY???????
And I thought this judge looked a little NORMAL, But he is not.
He is a WIMP.
This is a supremely disappointing and idiotic decision that lacks all common sense judicial analysis. It sounds like a domestic relations order prohibiting a one party from having any contact with the other party. Obviously, the ‘judge’ punted on all legal issues relating to perjury, defrauding taxpayers of their tax dollars, and professional misconduct - charges that scream out for criminal prosecution, case removal, disbarment, and jail time. As it turns out the judge should have recused himself for his own appearance of impropriety having worked for Willis in her office for several years. Was the entire McAffee inquiry a choreographed coverup and an effort to sweep this scandal under the rug.
Unexpected.
This isn’t just cowardice. This is injustice.
The judge basically admitted that they were enriching themselves to get Trump and a fair, just prosecution was irrelevant.
EXACTLY RIGHT!!!!
There is NO justice, in this country, at this time.
If nothing else, he made an appeal possible. I guess that will delay this.
This is an amazingly cowardly and illogical ruling.
” I submit they will certainly take him out.”
What surprised me is that they haven’t already done that.
I haven’t read the decision, and while obviously it would be better if they both were to go, I’m not sure this is actually an incorrect decision. Their conflict of interest isn’t with Trump, it’s with each other. Removing one of them ends that conflict.
Now should they be punished for having made such a conflict in the first place? Sure, but that goes about by other means, prosecution for bribery or action by the grievance committee or such - but as far as the Trump case goes, the judge would likely be overstepping if he were to try to enforce any of that.
He kicked the can down the road, and out of his court. Now it’s someone elses’ problem................
MR. RAFFENSPERGER: Well, we’re –
PRESIDENT TRUMP: – all I want to do is this. I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have, because we won the state, and flipping the state is a great testament to our country because, you know, there’s just – it’s a testament that they can admit to a mistake – or whatever you want to call it – if it was a mistake. I don’t know.
Of course he wanted to find 11k more votes with all the shenanigans reported, and it was a conversation about the president's hopes. I just don't see anything wrong with it.
I could say exactly the same thing, "listen Raffy, I'd love to find 11k more votes." I would. Is it illegal or unconstitutional for me to say it? Then it isn't for anyone.
Totally agree,
Regards. Totally Stupid and cowardly.
What about the folks who coordinated, between states on how to stuff ballot boxes/truck in votes, stop vote counting at 3 a.m. (what a coincidence!), etc?
Where are the RICO charges, for them??
And I thought this judge looked a little NORMAL, But he is not.
He is a WIMP.
They are ALL compromised ... whether threatened, or paid off.
Threatened or paid off. Take your pick.
Depressing as it is, you are right, Jane.
I’m sure the order came from above.
I’m sure the order came from above.
That’s just the real shame of it. This deviously contrived case [Jonathan Turley calls them “improvised”] is pathetic all by its lonely; forget the twists and turns of its course in court.
Doesn’t this decision help to obtain a mistrial later on?
