A good portion of the Republican elite despises Trump. They hate that he will not bow to the Deep State. Some despise Trump openly (Romney, Christie, etc.). Many more despise him in secret.
Those folks don’t care if the Democrats cheat. No Trump. That’s their goal.
They are already blaming us for not voting early.

The Federal Election Commission should keep track of all voters to ensure one person and one vote.
The FEC could work in conjunction with other agencies. State driver license bureaus normally do voter registration and take photographs.
I should be able to walk to the voting desk and say my name, my address, and either present my photo ID or give the last four digits of my Social Security number or my date of birth (or both if asked for). My pictures from past government photo IDs should pop up. I should then get a ballot, fill it out, and run it through a scanner.
If someone has already voted in my name I should get a provisional ballot and a $2500 fine should be payable to the FEC by the offending jurisdiction that allowed someone to vote in my name.
If I can’t present a photo ID or give the last four digits of a Social Security number, I should be able to vote on a provisional ballot after having my picture and fingerprints taken and signing a document that says I leave the county with 30 days or be imprisoned for a year if not legally authorized to vote and I have foreign citizenship.
When the ballot box fails, what is left? Look what happens in real Banana Republics—revolution. Military dictatorship may well be in our future and endless wars until—the End.

Republicans want to enrich fatcats and the Democrats also want to make sure generous government pensions are funded and paid.
Trump is threatening to cut US use of the cheap labor, gold-egg laying Asian factory goose.
As the article points out, this isn’t about “winning”. This Biden cabal could have effortlessly continued many of Trump’s policies making even actual victory possible after the boot of COVID was removed from people’s necks.
This is about the road to perdition that America is on. Trump is merely a bump in that road. He was a bump that our “elites” judged to be better than Hillary, even at the expense of preventing his re-election - twice.
Don’t get me wrong, Trump would be a respite in our travels, but it appears we will not even be allowed this.
As far as Pubbie opposition goes, I don’t think people appreciate how the GOP is owned by the same cheating mechanisms the Democrats benefit from. The GOP will get the House, or the Senate and individual members will keep their place at the trough. They are easily compromised by this.
In the end, Americans will have to be better than their government.
They know. It’s just that they don’t care.
