A good portion of the Republican elite despises Trump. They hate that he will not bow to the Deep State. Some despise Trump openly (Romney, Christie, etc.). Many more despise him in secret.

Those folks don’t care if the Democrats cheat. No Trump. That’s their goal.

Trump is threatening to cut US use of the cheap labor, gold-egg laying Asian factory goose.

Part of their Trump hatred stems from the fact that he "jumped the line" in 2015 instead of paying his party dues, getting in line and waiting his turn.
