Ahhhh. The religion of proportional representation. The breakdown of categories and jobs applicable depend upon the rulers’ whim. Are Jews and/or Asians white depends on the position and whim of the rulers. Application to engineers and/or elementary school teachers also depends on the rulers’ whim.
Data may be collected but only displayed if it supports the desired outcome. Anything else would-be disinformation.

No more Tuskeegee Airman. They were the real deal. Anybody who could fly P 51’s is ok by me.
What could possibly go wrong? If you’ve been putting that once-in-a-lifetime trip off, better hop on that plane now. You’re not going to want to do it in the future.
Do they at least know how to read and write?

Hope they award them DIE Pilot patches to warn potential fliers.

What need?
There's no shortage of pilots. Never has been. Every kid who ever saw Top Gun wants to be a pilot. And unless you're a senior captain with a Big Three line, the pay is a joke. That's the way markets work: high supply, low wage.
As for “proportional representation”, where does that stop? Black males are maybe a bit more then 6% of the population, does anyone think they'll be happy when that precious threshold is reached? Nope.
If you're going to a) give away money for flight school and b) discriminate against White men, then the hiring can be pretty much 100% non-White for the foreseeable future.
The college degree/military background that used to predominate was just screening: pilots are essentially technicians and you don't really need anything past a high school diploma to do it. The carriers just imposed the requirements because it was a way to thin the herd and get better people.
We were all told 50 years ago that affirmative action wouldn't result in quotas. It is quite clear now that not only is that not true, but the quota is out the window: from now on, if a White male is employed ANYWHERE it will be controversial.

Today pilots are the last bastion of competence. Soon we might as well fly Somali Airlines. BLM pilots, and fat, old, lesbian dikes for cabin stewards.
