Around 800 delegates from the bipartisan group unanimously approved the plan for a 2024 'unity ticket' to take on Biden and Donald Trump in November at a virtual gathering on Friday.
Puck reported that No Labels leadership has decided a Republican must be on the top of the ticket to prevent Trump from being reelected instead.
The lack of an obvious candidate hasn't derailed the operation
On Tuesday, Axios reported that ahead of Friday's virtual convention a super PAC related to the effort was asking donors for dollars.
No Labels itself is a 501(c)(4) and can't run a traditional presidential campaign.
The group does not disclose its donors. The super PAC can act as the funding mechanism.
The PAC aims to bring in $300 million toward a general election effort.

It worked for a Democrat in 1992 and 1996 who served two terms without ever winning a majority of the vote in either election.
They claim “No Labels” but they must run a labeled GOP top of ticket to try and defeat the actual GOP nominee.
Bill Kristol and his fellow RINO Chickenhawks must be involved in this idiocy.
They dont care who the candidate is. This is so sad. They just throw out names. Manchin, Hogan, Romney, Haley, Christie. Ive noticed they are trying to appeal to the never Trump crowd moreso than disaffected Democrats. Hmm, I wonder why. Why don’t they want RFK jr? Might mess up Oregon for them, that’s why.
Bill Kristol is one of those who hates “No Labels” because they will make Biden lose:

Btw more on the leftists trying to stop “No Labels”:

Any third party helps President Trump—for reasons fully described on this thread.
“No Labels” is going to learn the hard way that it is the leftists who hate democracy—and any third parties that dare challenge their authoritarian rule.
So, it's like a NPC (Non-Player Character) in a video game.
Perfect time for an AI digital Max Headroom type candidate.
That seems the obvious choice; but, two straight white dudes?
Not sure that would fly with Woksters.
I smell romney...
Anyone who votes for a “unity” ticket would never vote for Trump anyway.
I suspect the aim in creating this group is to gather and coordinate ruling elite businessmen/political leaders actions both during the 2024 campaign and after.
Oh, Liz Cheney would be great - they should go for it. She would just provide those who would vote for Biden because they don’t want to vote for Trump with another choice vs. voting for Biden rather than take votes away from Trump.
No labels is a RAT or a RINO pretending they are not a RAT or a RINO.
No thanks.
I have my misgivings about all of them. I liked Haley the best of her, Trump, and Biden. But she would be so wrong and dishonest to do this.
The Liz Cheney - Mitt Romney ticket.
A label should be required.
Just a further comment on why any third party helps President Trump and hurts Biden—no matter who is on the third party ticket.
The third party will get a lot of media attention—but here is the kicker—President Trump’s supporters don’t trust anything the mass media says.
The universe of people who do trust the media are Biden supporters or potential Biden supporters—anything good they learn about the third parties—of any kind—gives them the excuse they need to avoid voting for the senile creep Biden.
Anyone who would vote for a “Unity Candidate” has zero conception of any issues facing us.
They are interested in “getting along”. I respect anyone who would vote for a “Unity Candidate” less than your run-of-the-mill rabid Leftist.
At least you know those brain-dead Leftists have expended some energy thinking about their twisted positions on their pet issues.
“Unity Voters” are obsessed about “mean tweets” and “incivility” while our country is being flushed down the toilet.
Yes and a few just like him.
Reminds me of people who have lost power wanting it back again....who can’t change.
Actually that’s not too far in the future.
