Around 800 delegates from the bipartisan group unanimously approved the plan for a 2024 'unity ticket' to take on Biden and Donald Trump in November at a virtual gathering on Friday.
Puck reported that No Labels leadership has decided a Republican must be on the top of the ticket to prevent Trump from being reelected instead.
The lack of an obvious candidate hasn't derailed the operation
On Tuesday, Axios reported that ahead of Friday's virtual convention a super PAC related to the effort was asking donors for dollars.
No Labels itself is a 501(c)(4) and can't run a traditional presidential campaign.
The group does not disclose its donors. The super PAC can act as the funding mechanism.
The PAC aims to bring in $300 million toward a general election effort.

True republicans will NEVER, EVER be fooled by this if Nicky jumps on the ticket if will NEVER hurt Trump ALL of her support came from democrats!! This group calls themselves republicans YET we all know they are really democrats!! Nikki Haley’s got too much class to fall for the No Labels scam.
The RINO wing is dying hard and their dream steal votes ticket would be romney and haley.
Even more shocking will be when the press decides they like him - so much so that they'll give him positive coverage almost as if he's a democrat... from the start and all the way up until the election.
When MSNBC and CNN cover his speeches they'll be careful to never show the size of his crowd. They already know they're in his corner and are ready to cheat for him...
And the thugs in intelligence? They'll slip him help and put extra nice stuff in news packets the DNC delivers for thim. (what newspapers refer to as 'sources') Special stuff for reporters who butter him him up.
Liz Cheney will campaign for him and money will flow like water into his coffers from white liberal 'elites'. George Soros and George Conway will offer whatever help he needs. MSNBC will fawn over him like he's a trans CIA Director of color who hates Christians... And 'no labels'? They'll do their best to elect Joe Biden.
The situation calls for 4 parties.
