Elon Musk Signals Grok AI's New Ability To Dissect 'Real Purpose' Of Upcoming US Congressional Laws

Tech billionaire Elon Musk has revealed that Grok, xAI's AI chatbot, will soon be able to generate summaries of laws before the U.S. Congress passes them, enhancing public awareness.

What Happened: Musk announced on X, formerly Twitter, that Grok would summarise comprehensive laws before Congress approves them. He says this move aims to ensure the public is well-informed about the true intent behind these laws.

"In the coming weeks, Grok will summarize these mammoth laws before they are passed by Congress, so you know what their real purpose is."

This announcement follows Musk’s recent emphasis on the importance of truth in AI technology, particularly in the wake of Google’s Gemini AI controversy. Though not perfect, Musk had stated that Grok was committed to the relentless pursuit of truth.

Earlier, Musk had also teased a new feature for Grok, inspired by the movie “Madagascar”, which would allow for a detailed analysis of entire thread discussions.

Representative Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) appreciated the move, saying it "sounds like a great tool."

Why It Matters: The push for transparency comes at a crucial time when AI technologies are under public scrutiny.

Grok’s role in summarizing complex laws would serve as a public education and awareness tool. This move could potentially reshape the way the public interacts with legislative information.

Moreover, it also marks a significant milestone for xAI’s Grok, which has been in the spotlight since its launch. Adding the new feature indicates a continued expansion in Grok’s capabilities.

Current tech LLMs can’t do it with any accuracy. He is overselling.

Maybe the technology will be there in 10 years.

Hell, I could write an app that could do that. Just have it answer, “Destroy the country and enrich politicians” for everything.

All of a sudden, there will be a focused “bipartisan” effort to regulate AI. RINOs and democrats of DC unite. That is if this tool actually works properly.

You know that will scare the hell out of Congress critters. They will have to shut Musk down because they sure don’t want scrutiny.

I will reserve judgment on AI until I actually read something I had never thought about before.

Still waiting, AI.

If AI can discover the hidden pork and graft in new legislation faster than I can discover it, that is a good thing.

Until then - still waiting, AI.

“...there will be a focused “bipartisan” effort to regulate AI. RINOs and democrats of DC unite...”

Exactly right. Our Public Enemy No.1 is the deepstate/GOPe/uniparty/dem coalition, these crooks are used to boiling frogs in a pot but a free speech “machine” is another whole level for these usurpers to deal with.

Elon Musk is quite an enigma. On one hand he has been a savior for the Federal government with his Space X, and Tesla which do what NASA and The Big 3 Automakers cannot. Yet he stepped into the Intelligence Ageny preview by adding Twitter at the same time signaling pushback against the MSM.

Biden publically signals political thuggery towards the Musk empire.

The political divide and intal agencies hold on monetized information gathering programs disguised as corporations must have been overcome by the Musk argument that X would still allow dara collection but become a discussion forum, whereby ideas could identify users; not shutting down conservative content breaking the DNC/CIA/NSA firewall must have been a gamble for them. X can allow the DNC/RINOs (USG) to get a pulse on issues, ID people, etc. The noncontrolling opposition to the Marxist control somehow allowed X to break openly with the Foreign Service color revolution tool Public Affairs Officers use (FB).

Musk is one of the few people using Government for wealth who can dissent from being a pawn.

Maybe Musk is simply a tool of the CIA or maybe what Democrat Policy did to S. Africa is getting some Musk opposition.

His Starlink made it impossible for the starwars scenario Reagan hoped to avoid with hostile nations cutting Satellite communications impossible today.

Musk is involved in every facet of thebSpace and Intelligence programs.... He probably started Tesla under duress or maybe it has some utility once he puts our government into space for rovers.

"Elon Musk is quite an enigma." FROM TWITTER>>>>________________________________ ____________________________ @amuse ·1h RUMOR: Elon Musk may secure Trump’s surety bonds to allow him to appeal the judgements against him in NY. Trump and Musk met in Mar-a-Lago in a well publicized meeting described as ‘secret’.

I would like Musk to turn Grok loose on the IRS Code.

Buried in there are choice little loopholes tailored to benefit specific individuals and groups, through arcane eligibility rules.

I would like Grok to identify WHO those loopholes were tailored for.

True - if Elon insists on using AI for a good purpose, they will soon be talking about banning it....

Maybe the technology will be there in 10 years.

But wouldn’t AI be given that bill to “read” where it can dissect it into explanations? Cause and effect?
That would be a great tool for us to understand the gobbledygook.

Another way is to get rid of these gargantuan bills that obfuscate on purpose and do single issue bills.

Want to raise taxes? Single issue bill.

Want to put money to the US Navy? Single issue bill.

Now, if you want to raise taxes, you create a bill call “Tax Reduction Act”, and within it, you reduce X tax by 1%, but income tax is raised by 5%, so that the net is actually 4% increase.

A better way would be to have Congress follow the Constitution.

That would cut 99.999% of this crap out.
