North Carolina Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson has won the Republican nomination for governor in what is expected to be one of the most competitive governor races in the country come November.
He beat State Treasurer Dale Folwell and trial attorney Bill Graham for the nomination.
If elected in November, Robinson would be the first black governor of North Carolina.
Former President Donald Trump endorsed Robinson at a rally in Greensboro on Saturday, calling Robinson 'Martin Luther King on steroids.'

There are more Rats registered in North Carolina than Republicans.
2,495,097 or 34% were registered Democrat;
2,637,581 or 36% were registered Unaffiliated;
2,221,179 or 30% were registered Republican;
But I think the Independents will lean toward Robinson.
Governor Pooper was HORRIBLE during the COVID years...

As LT Gov, he loudly opposed the 1619 Project’s anti-USA, anti-white curriculum in NC schools, bashing the NAACP in the process. He’s also squarely on the right side of the gender war. He’s hated by the same people who hate me, so he’s good in my book.
