When it comes to a ceasefire, in this moment, you’re exactly right. That would simply consolidate what Hamas has been able to do, and allow it to remain where it is and potentially repeat what it did another day…

As bizarre as things have been the past few years, I’d not doubt it. Something very unusual is about to happen. Joe obviously can’t campaign successfully. Either they admit defeat, internally, and run him, or pull some stunt. I think it’ll be the latter.
