Friday, during an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Jesse Watters Primetime,” former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) said she was “open” to serving as a vice-presidential nominee.
“Tulsi, you’re being considered for a VP slot,” host Jesse Watters asked. “Is that something you’re open to?”
“I would be open to that,” Gabbard replied. “My mission is to serve our country. I want to be in a position to solve problems, Jesse, and we’ve got a lot of them to solve.”

Why do so many FReepers fall for this stuff?
Who remembers that not too long ago that Nikki Haley was FR’s dream child on the rise?
Why do FReepers think former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) would be any different?
You put women in places of power instead of where they generally belong, at home taking care of their family, and you don’t know what you’re going to get, because women are equivocal and run greatly by emotion. Great for family relationships but disastrous when it comes to positions of power.
FUGEDDEABOUDDIT.
In a communist Hindu-convert Vice President?
BTTT your reality check!
It hasn’t for a long time. No matter which party is in power, the overall trend is always, always in the same direction.
Sometimes, even Democrats awaken from the stupor.
She reminds me of the old geezer who invited 3 of his friends over to play cards at the kitchen table. At the same time he hired a young lady to clean the room and paid her $250 for an hour’s work. Cleaned the place in the nude.
Since Trump can only serve this one last term he has to already be thinking about who he’ll be endorsing as his successor in four years. Not to mention there’s a high chance of the deep state willing to do the unthinkable.
Tucker Carlson is 100% off the table, AFAIC. No experience, and he does nothing to help win the election.
The ONLY ONLY ONLY criteria Trump should look at now is: Does the choice help to win the election?
The VP will have NO ideological say under Trump. NONE whatsoever. So if he/she is pro-choice, pro-LGBTQ, open border, whatever, that is COMPLETELY irrelevant.
So I am fine with Tulsi as VP choice. I think it would help win the election, bringing in moderates and women, perhaps more than anyone else at this point. If Trump makes her an attack dog against the Deep State, all the better.
If Trump wins in 2024, 2028 will be a clean slate for all Republican candidates. Tulsi as VP for 2025-2028 will not much help her in 2028, unless she demonstrates she is full-on MAGA as VP, and campaigns as full-on MAGA for 2028. Then, and ONLY then, will she be a contender for 2028.
“No matter which party is in power, the overall trend is always, always in the same direction.”
DITTO..Ain’t that the truth.
They have been and it hans't for quite some time.
Nikki Haley and Tulsi Gabbard should run together.
“I don’t care that she used to be a Democrat. Most Repbulicans are worthless at best. Look at Pence— total f***ing loser.”
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Add to that “Jefferson Beauregard Sessions”.
I wish I had a dollar for every Freeper who I wanted to slap after they posted that name.
are you a female? You sure are gullible ...
...UNLESS you are Reagan or Trump whose term is wildly successful and your VP, like GHW Bush, was elected because of such high popularity of Reagan.
Same with Trump. His 2024 VP will be the frontrunner for President in 2028 because Trump will be wildly successful in his next term and he was his first term.
Why was the Democrat Crime Syndicate able to succeed in their fraud in stealing the 2020 election?
Pence.
Pence would almost certainly been elected President in 2024 and would have been a disaster, just like GHW Bush.
FReepers, get a clue.

If Tulsi is right on the things that really matter, then her other views aren’t important. We shall see.
did you see the link at post #9?
This is the main point. It needs to be someone who is hostile to the deep state, preferably a Conservative governor, or a highly intelligent outsider with the balls to carry on MAGA (and Lake has more balls than 90% of the republican office holders).
We shall see.
You didn’t actually read my post, and UNDERSTAND it, did you.
DID YOU ?!?!?!
No, you didn’t. You saw I was fine with Tulsi as VP, and you ran out to your unthinking attack position.
Read #27. Slowly. Carefully. Meditate on it.
Live with it. Because it’s the truth.
We'll see who Trump is going to pick for the VP. If it's Tim Scott, then the answer is no. Tim Scott does not have the personality to become President. But I think Tim Scott is a good fit for Trump because he does not seek the spotlight. Trump needs to find someone like him. Who will remain loyal and is low key.
Trump/Blackburn
